Dinner was done and me and Kate are on our way home. It went well, better than expected.
She was driving.
Before we go back to the hideout I want to stop somewhere.
Jack: Hey, can we stop at the cemetery?
Kate: Yeah, okay. Visit someone?
Jack: Yeah, haven't been in a while.
Kate: Do you mind me asking who it is?
Jack: The guy who taught me everything I know.
Kate: When... when did he die?
Jack: A few years back, it's his birthday today so I just wanted to... you know.
Kate: Yeah.
Jack: Guess you could say he was my Mr Miyagi.
Kate let's out a small laugh.
Kate: That's nice, nice having someone like that.
Jack: Yeah, it was. Anyway, how do you feel about tomorrow?
Kate: I'm not gonna lie, I'm scared but I want to do this. If I want to... be like you then I have to.
Jack: I'm not gonna stop you.
Kate: Good. And I wanna see this guy get his ass kicked.
Jack: That, you will see.
Kate: Good.

We arrive at the cemetery. Kate just waits near the front as I tell her I won't be long.

Jack: Hi. It's... been a while since... I was here.
I didn't know what to say, I just wish she was here, I miss her so much.
Jack: I... I'm sorry, I'm so sorry.
Tears were starting to form in my eyes.
Jack: I... I don't know what to do. I don't have anyone left.
I get closer to the grave.
Jack: I don't know if I'll be here anymore since, since tomorrow is gonna be pretty crazy, I might not make it or... I might not want to make it. So this... is maybe goodbye.
I miss the top of the stone.
I stand up and start walking back to the exit.
Kate: Hey, you okay?
My eyes were probably post-tear state.
Jack: No.
I shook my head a little.
Kate: You wanna go for a walk along the water front?
Jack: Yeah, that- that sounds nice.
We start walking.
We've been walking for about 5 minutes now.
Jack: I was visiting Natasha's grave.
I decided just to say so.
We stopped walking.
Kate: Why didn't you just say so?
Jack: I don't know, maybe I... maybe I didn't want to make you-
