We were seated and a waiter came by quickly after to get our drinks.

-

I ordered a margarita and Clay did as well because he wanted to try the things I loved which I thought was so cute.

The girls ordered lemonades and I let my sister try a little bit of my drink just because I'm a nice sister. She genuinely liked it to so I knew when she gets older going out would be easy because we have very similar tastes in alcohol.

We ordered our food shortly after and ate up. Clay told the girls they could walk through the city and look at shops for an hour because he needed to talk to me which sparked my interest.

He paid for us and we all thanked him. We made our way out of the restaurant and split ways. Clay and I made our way to the beach and I got nervous so I started fidgeting with my promise ring.

"Listen so I've been wanting to talk to you about this for a while but George and I have talked about meeting up and he surprised me in March saying I could go live with him for a couple of months. I would never leave you though and I know it's a lot to ask and we were just getting settled and we keep traveling but I was wondering if you wanted to come with me? We would be there from beginning of August to beginning of January. I understand it's a long time and I get if you don't want to but I wouldn't want anyone else going with me but you." He said with a big smile.

I'm surprised he asked me and did it in one breath as well.

"Clay I would love to! I will let me mom know. But would we be living with George? I just don't want to be a big bother to him."

"No we wouldn't. If it would've just been me then yes but since your coming along we will rent a house because I think Nick and Alex are coming along too."

I nod my head giving him a smile and a big hug.

"God Clay the things you do for me. I don't know how I could ever repay you."

He looks down at me leaning in giving me a gentle kiss.

"There. Now you have payed me."

I scoff and we make our way to the water continuing our walk on the shore line and talking about all the things we would do in Europe.

"Okay I'll go as long as we can go to Paris. It's always been my dream to go there and I would want to go with you and only you."

"Okay I can make that happen. Would if we went over your birthday," he said smiling at me.

"I would love that Clay," I said giving him puppy eyes.

"I love you." He said.

"I love you."

We ended up meeting up with the girls again around 7 and packed up everything. We strapped down the surfboards to the top and made our way home.

We played music and talked with the girls all the way home.

We laughed and giggled and Clay even stopped at a gas station so we could all get slushies. We got candy and continued to drive home. We decided the girls could just sleepover at our apartment and we would all watch a movie.

We got back and I made popcorn while Clay got the blankets.

We watched about 2 movies before Annika and Alley fell asleep.

Clay and I turned off the TV and made our way to the bedroom.

I started reading a book cuddled up next to Clay and we read together. He always made fun of me for being a slow reader which always made me mad. Not for long though I'd get over it pretty quickly.

This must be what being in love feels like.
