He found you and you found him.
Ronin was in Tokyo killing people and you were held hostage, he saved you and you fought but something felt off. It wasn't something you had felt in a while. Love.
A year later since the 'incident' or as you liked to call it a lucky occurrence as you couldn't stop thinking about it and what Clint did, the memories of what happened run like a roundabout in your head. Since then you have joined the avengers and are becoming close with Nat and Peter as they were like a brother and sister to you.
It was a normal day of training and messing about until Tony called a meeting.
Tony-" Guys, we've got someone newish joining the team again." Thats when he walked through the door. Ronin. Everyone rushes over but you just sit their in complete and utter shock, Fury notices and taps you on the shoulder for you to follow him in which you do.
Fury-" I know I didn't tell you but I couldn't as it could have risked something."
"Like what?! I think I deserve to know if the person who saved my life is entering my life again especially after what happened?!" You storm past him and then walk straight to the training room where you storm over to the punching bag and start punching the shit out of it, your knuckles start to sting but you ignore the pain and you see the red trickle down your hands thats when Clint walks up behind you and you both start fighting and sparring, he knows your angry so he lets you both fight.
Clint-"wow... getting better I see." You smirk then tackle him onto the floor and start to choke him.
"Nice of you to come and see me to." You then get up and kick him in the nuts making him curl over, you then walk out of the training room into the kitchen.
Thats when Tony walks in.
Tony-"what the fuck happened to your knuckles?" You shrug and point to the training room.
Tony-"here let me help." He goes to grab you hand but you pull away.
"I'm fine, just needed to let off some steam, might wanna check on Clint though." He looks at you puzzled then asks Jarvis to look at the footage.
Tony-"omg... He's only just got here!" You shrug then you see Clint limping over to the sofa (couch).
Clint-"Its fine, I let her do it, I deserve it." You smirk then nod.
"hey Tony can you pass me the aid kit." He nods then passes it over to you and you clean your knuckles before wrapping them.
Just in that moment Nat, Steve and Fury walk in. Fury starts to laugh and you look at him then at Clint who is spread out onto the sofa.
Fury-"Haha damn y/n you beat his ass." You just simply nod in response before going back to the training room.
*others pov*
Nat-"What happened?"
Clint and Tony give each other a glance before looking back at Nat.
Tony-"come here ill show you." She walks over and Tony shows her the footage of the training room.
Nat-"why is she doing this?"
Fury-"Because she's annoyed about me not telling her that Clint was coming." Nat looks at Fury confused.
Fury-"Clint and y/n had history, she met him when he was murdering people but got held hostage then got shot the Clint or Ronin back then save her life and then they both lost contact." Nat's jaw dropped at the information she had just heard.
Clint just nodded in response then got up to go to his room. On the way past he looks in the training room and watches you as you work out thinking about the day he save you and how good you look.
He then walks to his room an after an hour you go to your room to get a shower, your muscles aching and sore, you hop into the shower but accidentally cut yourself on the razor, the sudden urge to cut is so strong you've been clean for nearly a year but you know what will happen if you do.
You think to yourself for a moment before saying fuck it and you start, the blood starts to trickle down your leg and then your arm. Then you carry on cleaning yourself and walk out of your room as if nothing happened. After walking into the kitchen you see Tony and Bruce in his lab trying to figure something out so you walk in and watch them a little bit to see what they are doing. You see Tony tinkering with his suit an Bruce helping o you decide to leave, the pain in your arm was slowly increasing but you ignore it and walk back into the kitchen to make yourself a coffee. Clint and Nat walk in joking about their missions together and things when Nat looks at you and smiles.
"There's some coffee in the pot if you want some." You smile back and walk past them when Nat grabs your arm making you flinch and wince in pain. They both give you worried look but dont say anything so you walk past and rush into your bedroom then slide down the wall crying.
Clint-"Ill go check." Nat nods and then Clint walks into your room without any notice. Thats when he's sees you on the floor sobbing.
Clint-"Y/n? Whats wrong?" He makes his way over to you and lifts up your chin, and rubs away the tears with his sleeve. He knows that you probably cant talk so he sits next to you and puts his arm around you whilst you cry. Eventually you calm down and look at him in the eyes and smile.
"T-Thank you." He smiles back and nods.
Clint-"do you want to tell me?" You shrug then slowly lift up your sleeve to reveal lots of white and red marks, ones which are still bleeding and ones which are just red. He face drops but you can tell he's trying to act strong. You hesitantly pull his face towards you and kiss him.
"I-I'm sorry I-" He cuts you off and kisses you back then gently grabs your arm and starts to kiss your scars.
Clint-"your beautiful the way you are with or without the scars." You smile and rest your head on his chest and he kisses your forehead.
Clint-"Can I grab the first aid kit to clean them?" You nod and he stands up and goes to his room to get one.
You think about what happened for the past 30 minutes and realise that you like him, the day you met him, the moment you looked him in the eyes you knew but didn't want to believe that you actually liked someone.
He walks back in and starts to clean the cuts, you couldnt really feel the pain to much as you had gone numb after the breakdown. After he finishes cleaning them you get up and sit on the bed.
"I'm sorry." He turns his head to you confused.
Clint-"What for?" You look down and he can tell your upset so he sits with you.
"for becoming a problem."
Clint-"You arent a problem your a person, your amazing, beautiful, funny, kind, caring and so much more so dont ever doubt yourself." You smile at him and nod then mouth thank you.
Clint-"wanna watch a movie?" You nod and he puts f/m on, half way through you fall asleep so he turns off the movie and falls asleep with you.
