Y/N Pov:

Dad led us into the building while he tried to ignore Uncle Mic's constant talking.

"Go have fun, you two. Don't get into trouble."

He looked at Katsuki specifically, and I laughed at Katsuki's intimidated expression.

"Bye, Dad! Bye, Uncle Mic!"

I waved to them and then dragged Katsuki into the crowd. He had left his gauntlets in the car so that he'd be able to move around easier.

I was right.

Katsuki left my side and walked to a table. I was surrounded by pro heroes, including some famous ones.

I greeted some of the heroes that I knew and met a new one.

"You must be Hawks! It's nice to meet you!"

He shook my hand and inspected me.

"You're in Tokoyami's class. You must be Eraserhead's daughter. How are you after being kidnapped?"

I could tell that he was seeing how I would react, so I stayed calm.

"Honestly, it was awful, but now I use it as inspiration. I don't want anyone to be hurt like I was."

He nodded his head and put a hand on my shoulder.

"Good answer. Do you have a work-study yet?"

"Not yet."

"I'll talk to one of my friends. I think that you two could get along well."

"Thank you, Sir, but you don't have to."

He smirked and started to walk away.

"It's fine. It won't take long."

Once Hawks left, I felt a drink be forced into my hand.

"What was the overgrown chicken talking about?"

Katsuki was frowning, even as he drank his drink.

"He asked about me being kidnapped and if I had a work-study."

"That jerk! Asking about your kidnapping! I'll kill him!"

Katsuki started to stomp away, but I grabbed his arm and he stopped.

"It's fine, Katsuki. I'm fine."

I smiled to reassure him, but he shoved my hand off of his arm. He didn't leave though.

"What do we even do here?"

I looked around for something to do, and I found nothing.

"I don't know. Heroes usually talk about new team-ups here, so what should we do?"

Katsuki looked around the room and smirked.

"We could go explore this place."

He grabbed my hand and pulled me out of the room. I felt my face heat up from the contact, but Katsuki didn't see.

We wandered down the hall until we heard a loud noise from one of the rooms.

"Katsuki! We shouldn't be snooping!"

He peeked inside the room and then opened the door.

"What are you kids doing in here?!"

I heard a voice that I'd only ever heard on the news.

"Hey! You're UA kids! Is Y/N here? I need to talk to her."

I stepped into the room behind Katsuki.
