juke forever

Nursery pt 2.

We just left the room, and went back into the living room. Luke doesnt know the gender, but i do. I wanted to surprise him.

I was thinking on getting the ultrasound photo and putting it in a box full of pink and blue confetti, and there will be a note that says its a girl. I thought that would be a cute little gender reveal. Then later on we can tell everyone. I already have the ultrasound photo ready, i just need to go to the store and get a few other things. "luke..?" i called from the other room, "yeah..?" he asked. "i need to go to the store.. will you be alright being here?" " yeah.. will you be alright? want me to drive you?" he probed, "no.. ill be alright" "okay.."

I grabbed the keys and he walked up to me, "are you sure you dont want me to drive you..?"
"im sure.." i said giving him a small peck on the lips, and opened the door and left.

I got to the store and walked down the aisles, i picked up the things that i needed and also got a few other things. I headed to the self checkout and payed for the items.
I had the cart and brought everything to out small little red car, i put everything in the back and drove back to out apartment.

Once i got back i went to the trunk and put everything together, i grabbed the bags too and walked up the stairs. While walking up the stairs i could feel a sharp pain coming from my back, i knew not to carry anything heavy, but i did it anyway. I groaned from the pain, but once i got to out door i put on a fake smile and walked in. I rushed to the counters and placed everything down. "You alright?" i heard a voice coming from the couch, i jumped slightly "yeah." i said laying my hand on my back, "can you meet me in the nursery?" i asked, he nodded and went to the nursery confuesd. I grabbed the small gift box and put it behind my back, and went to the nursery, "i got something for you.." i told him, he tilted his head, "you did?" he chuckled, "its nothing big.." he smiled, "its the thought that counts.." he said kissing my cheek. I handed him the small white box and he stared at it.

Lukes Pov:

I stared at the small little white box that she handed to me, "open it!" she chuckled, "okay, okay.." i said opening it, i saw a little note with an ultrasound on it. I opened the note and read it,

Hey lovey, i know youve been waiting a long time to figure this out haha.

I knew way before you, but i wanted to surprise you.

Anyways, were expecting a little baby girl.

Im so happy to start this life with you and our little girl, Your

going to be such a great father luke. Shes so lucky to

have you as her dad.

I could feel a tear trickling down my cheek, "Are you serious??" i asked, she nodded with her eyes filling up with tears, "Oh, julie!" i said wipping her tears and hugging her tightly. "Best surprise ever!" i smiled widely, "i love you so much jules"

"i love you too" she replied.

"So the bag i brought in, it was really heavy." she chuckled, i rolled my eyes, "your not suppost to carry heavy things.."  "well i did, it has pink paint in it." i rolled my eyes.

Julies Pov:

Luke had grabbed the paint and brought it to the room, There was more paint on us then the walls.. but it was fun painting it.

We still had alot of things to buy, like a crib and hangers to hang up the baby clothes. But we still have 2 and a half months to get ready.

"I cant wait to live this life with him and our baby" i said to myself with a smile.
