Chapter 18

          * MacKenzie's POV*

I woke up, in a dark basement probably. I started hyperventalating, i wanted to scream, but I had a gag in my mouth. My arms were tied behind me, and my legs were tied up to the chair. Then, the door opened, revealing a tall man. He remided me a little bit of Harry. Then, he flipped a light switch, and revealed his emerald eyes. " Hello MacKenzie. How are you doing?" His deep british accent rung throughout the room. I muffled something. He chuckled and said, " Oh MacKenzie, why even try to talk, when you have a gag in your mouth?" He then walked over to me and took the gag out of my mouth. 

  I then shot out at him, " You do now that my parents will find you and they will rescue me, and you will be in a very strict prison." He laughed, clutching his side. " Oh, you dont know what this is... right?" He asked. I shook my head, and he sighed, " This is a ransom. If your parents bring the police in this situation, you will be killed." My mouth dropped and tears appeared in my eyes. He then said, " Well, now if you'll excuse me... i have a phone call to make." He then put the gag over my mouth. He then shut off the light and walked up the stairs. 

                * 4 hours later*

I swear I was about to go insane. It was his 4th time calling my parents to tell them the ransom. I then just noticed that my rope was coming loose on my arms. I wiggled my arms around, and they came free. I then moved down to my legs and untied the ropes. I then stood up and moved over to the door. I jiggled the doorknob, locked. I then looked around the room, looking for anything to unlock it. I found nothing. Then, i remembered that I had a bobbypin in my hair still. I got it out of my hair and went back to the door. I put it in the key hole, and I wiggled it around. Then, it unlocked. I whispered to myself, " Yes."

   Then, I crept out the door and saw him at a desk, holding his phone to his ear, saying things to my parents. I snuck up behind him and knocked his phone out of his hands and tackled him. He fought back with twice the strength as i did. His phone went on speaker, so I heard my mum in the phone. He punched me in the jaw, but I kicked him in the gut. He doubled over and I took my chance and grabbed the phone. " Mum!!" I cried. I turned my head and saw the man getting himself together. My mum then sobbed, " MacKenzie, baby!! Are you okay!?" I then cried, " Not for long mum. I just wanna let you know that I love you so much! Please whatever you do, don't brin-" Thats when I was tackled.

   I then got punched again in the face, over and over. I then heard my mum crying, same as Sam, and i heard Louis in the background. I then fought back. I punched him pretty hard, and he fell off of me. I stood up and ran to the kitchen. I was looking for a weapon to use, but the man grabbed me by the waist and I yelped. I started kicking and clawing his arms. He dropped me, and I grabbed a vase whcih was on the table next to me. I then hit his head with it, it smashed into 1000 pieces. He put his hand on his head, hissing in pain. He then grabbed me again, but this time not letting go. I screamed, and he slammed me up against the wall. 

      He then grabbed something that was right next to me and he bashed it on my head. My vision became blurry, and I stopped fighting back. He let me go and I plopped to the ground with a thud. He took a deep breath and went over to his phone. He then talked into the phone and said, " Your guy's daughter and put up a hell of a fight... but sadly, she lost that battle." My dad then yelled, " YOU BETTER NOT HAVE FUCKING KILLED HER YOU SON OF A BITCH!!!!" The man laughed and replied, " Don't worry, she's just knocked out." That's all i heard before i balcked out.
