always him || sapnap x reader

the beginning

 i grabbed my phone in a hurry. i never get notifications this early, usually the notifications i get this early would be from work asking me to come in early or from school saying i have missing assignments. i unlocked my phone and pressed the notification sapnap followed me back. my heart dropped the second i seen that. this means he rembers me, which is a good thing, but it was expected that he rember'd me because we only stopped talking four and a half years ago.

i wanted to dm him something but that's to cliché for me to do though. i turned off my phone and put butter on my toast and some jelly, my phone lit up again i looked over at my phone and seen another twitter notification. i put my toast down and unlocked my phone. it was dm from sapnap i was stunned he seemed like the guy to wait a bit for someone but i guess he doesn't do that anymore. he simply just said "hey y/n I'm surprised you rember'd me"

how are you surprised it's only been around four years sense we talked to each other and completely ignored each other? i decided to text him something simple back "because I'm not a bum" it was dry but simple like him i liked it and i liked this feeling.

it's been two hours sense I've texted him and I've been waiting for something back, what if he doesn't like my response or me. i decided to go out. i left my apartment quickly and it was very windy and chilly but i wasn't bothered. i live near everything i could ever want so i barely use my car i just walk everywhere i want to in orlando, i was walking to a local coffee shop sense starbucks was a mile away. i walked inside to the very modern looking place and ordered what i normally ordered an iced caramel macchiato with extra caramel. 

i turned around and nearly bumped into someone spilling my coffee everywhere, i looked up and seen a blonde with freckles and beautiful green eyes, he was beautiful compared to these other florida men but it's not like I'm simiping nothing close to my type. 

"heh sorry about that" he spoke before i could, he sounded so familiar i heard that voice its way to familiar. "your fine im sorry for almost spilling coffee on you" he looked at me weird and i looked at him weird, i have to know him there's no way i don't know him. "hey do i know you, you sound really familiar" i spoke becoming even more confused than before. "i don't know do you" he said giving me a cheeky smile. he just walked away I've never been so confused.

i walked out looking back at him and he looked at me. that was so strange i definitely know that scum.

i went back to my apartment after walking for a bit. i looked at my phone to see some twitter notifications i have more dms one from dream and two from sapnap, i went to sapnaps first. "i didn't know u lived in orlando" "if that was you" what is he talking about "i do live in orlando what are you talking about saying if that was you...?" i then opened dreams message "was that you in qreate coffee today" it took me a minute to realize the scum i ran into was dream like it was really him that why he sounded so familiar i texted him back "yea hoe" simple but funny. 

i decided to dm sapnap something else "you live with dream right" i asked. five minutes passed and he responded back with a "yeah" i quickly texted him back "so you live in orlando to huh?" i was even surprised his texas ass came down here "i guess so add me on discord right now" i then added him back on discord.  

i haven't felt this happy in a long time, I've never been so happy to talk to and old friend again sure i would text some of them sometimes but talking to him was different even if it was just two short conversations we've had. my phone started to buzz, i picked it up and it was discord. sapnap was texting me.

sapnap: heyy y/n

y/nisboring: heyyyyy sap

sapnap: wyd

y/nisboring: im laying with my cat wbuuuu

sapnap: nothing u still play minecraft

y/nisboring: uhhhhh no 

sapnap: you are really boring wanna play 

y/nisboring: sure ig...

i got an incoming call from him and i quickly got on my pc and joined the call he was in.  "hey y/n been a while" i could just hear the smirk in his voice when he was talking to me. he sounded so different i know he hit puberty and all but... damn. "hey sap" i smiled even though he couldn't see me i just felt so happy talking to him. "you sound different" he said to me, i was surprised because during puberty girl's voices don't really change as much as boys voices do. "thanks? you also sound different i don't really know what to say" i let out an awkward laugh sigh noise because i don't actually know what to say to him if I'm being completely honest, it's been years his humor is the same because his post on twitter but his actual personality besides humor on the other hand could be completely different. he does seem like a nice and dry person though so what could possibly go wrong right...
