Tails and Cream took their seats. Tails sat close to Sonic and Amy was next to Cream.
"I can't believe you two are finally on a date. Finally all the noise and disturbances you two cause In my lab, it feels great to know it will finally end." Tails said
"I can't believe I was that much of a pest." Amy said looking sad
"Yeah you were." Sonic said "Shet I shouldn't have said that out loud." he thought
Amy hangs her head in shame, sad that the love of her life would say that to her. Tails takes notice to her sadness and elbows Sonic.
"You're obviously not making her feel good." Tails whispered to Sonic
"How?. I'm naturally charming. No way she wouldn't feel good around me." Sonic whispered back to Tails cockily, trying to downplay what he just did.
"Well you just called her a pest" Tails whispered to Sonic.
"So?.Who gives a flying chili dog ?!. Truth be told I only accepted this date to get her off my back ! She totally is a pest! It may feel bad to say and hear but it's the truth." Sonic whisper-yelled
"Wow Sonic just wow ! Why would you say that! Shameless! I can't believe you !" Tails whisper-yelled back.
"What are you guys talking about ?" Amy asked
"Nothing." Tails and Sonic replied at the same time , and really quickly.
"Hmm, how suspicious." Amy and Cream both thought rubbing their chins going 'Hmmmm' and Tails and Sonic started to sweat nervously. After a while Tails reached his limit.
"That's it! I can't take it anymore ! This double date Is over !" Tails said slamming his hand on the table after a while of uncomfortable silence.
"What's up with Tails ?" Amy thought
"I'm screwed" Sonic thought
"Why ?" Cream asked
"Because this isn't a real date ! Amy , Sonic told me he only agreed to go on a date with you to get you off his back" Tails said
Amy froze "I can't believe it"
Amy has tears in her eyes and runs out of the restaurant.
"No Amy wait" Sonic said reaching for her
Sonic hung his head down.
