----EGGMAN'S LAIR----
"Rats, that blue hedgehog beat me again but no matter." Eggman said staring at a tube which Metal Sonic was in. He put in half of the DNA samples remaining in the syringe. The evil doctor pressed a button and Metal Sonic started glowing. Metal Sonic immediately ran out of the tube,not even giving Eggman time to do anything before he left as he already knowing his mission.
Eggman suddenly thought what would happen if Metal failed and he had to go to plan C. He looked at the syringe of DNA. Was he really willing to make that kind sacrifice to rule Mobius ?
****Back with Sonic and Amy****
Amy was leaning into Sonic's arms as they talked about what they thought future would be like then they started talking about waffles and after sometime there was no talking. Just looking at the stars, being happy with just the presence of each other. After a while, Amy fell asleep. Sonic turned to her to see her eyes closed,with her gradually curling into a ball, ears twitching at the slightest sound.
'She looks so cute when she's sleeping' he thought, blushing.
He carried her in bridal style and ran to Tail's house. Shadow was standing outside and looked at Sonic in disapproval.
"You're late." Shadow growled, before reaching into his quills and pulling out nothing. Surprise was clear on his face "Where is the chaos emerald?"
Just then, Tail's house blew up,sending Shadow and Sonic flying. Sonic was on top of Amy, who was now awake. The three stood up and looked at Tail's house there there was a dark figure holding Tails, the young fox's eyes wide in fear. It was Metal,but with a few differences. For starters he was now black,with blue tips and pink stripes. The most significant change was the fact he now had glowing purple eyes.
"Metal Sonic." Amy growled under her breath.
"Correction, I am Metal doom."
