The Next Day

Y/n's POV

I smile as I get dressed. Although I didn't train yesterday, I was ready. I put my hair into a ponytail and attached my gear before heading downstairs. I take a good look at everyone, there's Levi and the squad but no....Petra? And then I see Misaka but no Armin? I was a little worried but then there was one person who stood out to me.

"Eren....he looks upset."

Eren stood off by himself with a dark look on his face. I gulp and stood by him just trying to keep him company but not once did he look over at me so I clear my throat and smile.

"Hey Eren. You okay?"

He looked at me without saying a word before nodding and pulling himself on his horse that one of the captain's gave to him. I sigh and walked over to my horse. It bumps its head into mines and i chuckle.

"We will make it through today, right? You promise?" I whispered. I looked back to see everyone around me looking seriously and not saying a world. Is the Expedition really that bad? I heard all about it last night from the girls. The stories didn't sound too bad.

"Hey Levi. Have you seen Petra?"

I looked over and saw Oluo and Levi walking towards their horses. My heart slipped a beat as Levi fasten his belt from his pants. He looks... good today.

Levi stopped walking to look back at Oluo.

"No. I haven't. I remembered her coming to my office two days ago, saying that she can't participate in the exposition today because she hasn't been feeling well lately."

Oluo looked down and sigh.

"Oh she did? Well....I'll be sure to check on her later." And with that he walks away. Levi's eyes locked on mines and i shyly wave at him. He smirks and starts getting attached to his horse.

"Do you need help?" A deep voice said behind me. I gasp. Oh no. It's Erwin. His hands was holding mines but I snatched it away and turn back to him.

"Umm sure. You can, although I think I can manage–"

I can tell he couldn't wait to get his hands on me because immediately his arms wrapped around me and lifted me up on the horse. I just watch him carefully just in case he get besides himself.

"All done. I just want you to be safe dear. Can't have you getting hurt out there."

I roll my eyes and move forward. The gates were starting to open up and I put my game face on.

"ALRIGHT CADETS! THIS IS THE WAY TO OUR FREEDOM! EVEN IF YOU DON'T MAKE IT, YOUR SACRIFICE WILL NOT BE IN VAIN! LET'S MOVE OUT!!!" Erwin yelled. I smacked my horse's bottom and he starts running off.

Oh shit. We're really doing this.

A few hours later....

We all have been outside for hours, riding on our horses. I see multiple titans heading towards us and my fingers starts to sweat. I haven't had much training but I do remember a particular one.

FLASHBACKS....

"Alright, (Y/n) it's time to start training." Levi said while attaching the gear around my waist. I scoffed and fold my arms.

"Why can't I be....like....the nurse or something? Do I HAVE to actually train from this?"

"Yes you do. Erwin said so."

"Oh! So you're Erwin's spokesperson? I thought you were your own man?" I looked back and smirked. Levi glare at me before moving back and judging my look.
