What is the enemy of all things Supernatural?
That was the question that I tried to answer. And honestly, finding out is kind of what got me killed.
You see, ages ago, humans from around the world learned how to protect their people from all things mystical...by harnessing the power of the very magic that sparked through these beings veins. These humans became so powerful that not even the cold ones, the most deadly and powerful supernatural creature of all, could withstand them.
The cold ones are what the local tribe here calls these monsters, but you might know them by their most common name...
Vampires.
Because of the strength and danger these seemingly ordinary humans proved to be for the vampires vary existence, a group of them decided to act.
The Volturi as they are called. They are an ancient aristocracy of vampires. Almost like the Kings and Queens of old.
Am I sounding a little crazy? Yes. But just stick with me.
See, the Volturi used the fear of the unknown against the vary ones who tried to protect mankind from being decimated. And the Volturi also made sure that any real history relating to the existence of such powerful humans and the supernatural was wiped away. We thought that only what was told as fairy tales remained.
But they couldn't erase it all.
And that's where my story begins.
In the Olympic Peninsula of northwest Washington state there exists under a near-constant cover of clouds and rain....
Wait, I'm sure you've heard this before. Haven't you?
But not all of it at least.
Because there we were for decades: Unprotected, unaware, and unknowing of our own history and with a false sense of safety.
But that power I told you about that humans once possessed?
Well, it still exists in some of us.
And my seventeen year old sister Olivia is about to find out that she isn't as ordinary as she thinks she is.
Ok.
I guess what I'm really trying to say...
Is that Bella Swan and the Quileute aren't the only ones who know the Cullens' secret.
