Taking place after Bruno comes back from being gone for 10 years

You've always admired the madrigals, I mean they did everything for your town. Every single one of them helping out in a way. The only thing you've heard bad about there family was when mirabel didn't get her gift and..... Bruno he was always weird. Or at least what you heard. You never saw him around or even remember but when he came back you never realized how hot he was...

"Morning y/n" Your neighbor yelled

"Morning" You say with a smile as you walk out of your house

You planned to have a picnic with Bruno while he didn't know this.... Just then you notice Bruno walking away down the street.

"Hey Bruno wait, wait for me." You catch up to him out of breath from running.

"Oh hey y/n what a surprise seeing you." He gave you one of his anxious smiles while fidgeting with his hands. 

"I was just wondering...If you wanted to have a picnic with me today?" You gave him a big grin as you say that

He looks pretty nervous but he always looks nervous. His hair a fizzy mess and his falling apart green poncho. He always did catch your eye, he is full of mysteries and you hope one day he'll tell you all his secrets, but you have to take it slow of course starting with a picnic!

"Yeah...Sure I'll have a picnic with you!" He smiled a little and looked at you then back at the ground still fidgeting with his hands.

"Great I'll come and get you in around an hour!" You giggled a little and gave him a big smile as you walked back to your house to prepare this picnic had to be perfect.

You wanted this picnic to be casual but still perfect. Looking around in your closet you find the best outfit! It matched your hair color perfect. The dress was a little green color with a white pattern running along the bottom of the dress. It was perfect. After putting on the dress you start doing your hair. While it looked nice it could look better. You start curling your long straight hair.

Looking at your alarm clock you realize it's already been 40 minutes and you haven't even started making the lunch. Realizing this you start making a cute lunch. You were never the best cook out of your family. Your older sibling always being better then you at everything, but today was the day you would prove that you could just be as good as them. You start cutting fruits and vegetables while the main meal was cooking.

Once it was all finished you put the food in a basket along with putting the blanket you guys are gonna sit on, on top of the basket. You sigh walking up to the madrigal home a little nervous. Knocking on the door Dolores answers.

"Uh hey I'm looking for Bruno" you say it with a small smile your anxiety quickly rising.

"Bruno y/n is here" She yelled

You immediately saw Bruno quickly running out of his room to get to the door. Bruno existed the house as Dolores shut the door.

"Hey I was waiting for you" He said it while out of breath with a small smile

"Sorry I took so long! Anyways I was thinking we could have the picnic by a stream I've been there before it's really pretty." You said smiling while walking

"Yeah, yeah that sounds really great" You noticed the blush on his face as he said it. He really looked like a nervous wreck.

You guys made small talk while walking to the picnic spot. Once you got there you realized it was really the perfect spot for a picnic no one was around and it was quiet.

"Wow this place looks amazing" Bruno said looking around. You just giggle starting to set up the blanket and put the food out

Once you sat down he sat down in front of you. He looked Beautiful his curly hair that looked a little nicer then earlier. His clothes going along with your dress. His eyes that you could never say no to. He was perfect even if he did make mistakes sometimes.

"I really hope you enjoy the food" you gave him a small smile while starting to eat yourself.

"Wow y/n you really made this yourself it's amazing" He looked at you amazed. You couldn't help but blush at the way he looked at you

"Yep made it myself!" You giggle a little as he starts to stuff his face with the food you made looking like he hasn't ate a day in his life.

Yep he was definitely perfect.

The rest of the picnic you to make small talk he tells you the reason he was gone and how he stayed in the walls of the madrigal house for 10 years. Some stories he told make you sad and some made you laugh so hard your drink would almost come out of your noise, but just like most things it had to end.

"I really had a fun time today with you." You give Bruno a smile as you walk with him back to his house.

"Yeah it was amazing everything I could ever ask for. I've also never had someone do something like that before it was...nice" Bruno smiled a you.

He was about to enter the madrigal household when all of the sudden he kissed you. It was quick but you would treasure it forever. Sadly before you could react he quickly went inside leaving your face red.

Maybe Bruno really wasn't as bad as the town said he was. He was kind and sweet not some monster to not be talked about. He was everything. He was perfect
