This infectious virus has caused many to die and kill others, all while destroying the worlds it invades. It is seemingly incurable. 

The symptoms include:
~ Paranoia
~ Hallucinations
~ Blackouts
~ Paralysis
~ Organ failure
~ Memory loss
~ Torn vocal cords due to screaming in pain/fright
~ Loss of pigmentation in eyes and hair
~ Itchy rashes

Once the symptoms begin showing, those who are aware of the virus will instantly recognize it and attempt to quarantine the infected. It usually ends up with them being infected as well.
Many worlds have been sealed off from the Multiverse due to how corrosive and infectious it was to the worlds. Not many afterwards have gotten it, the last case ever being in [REDACTED].

As far as Universal Medical Engineers are aware, there is no cure. Every type of vaccine they have tried has only ever worsened the virus and caused more harm. Those who are infected by it are deemed "hopeless" and locked away forever.

Even dead hosts can still pass the virus on through touch, consumption and any kind of physical contact.

Those infected have been recorded to kill in the dead of night or in a dark of less populated areas. They move extremely quick and sometimes seem to teleport. Many mistake them for ghosts searching for vengeance before they are brutally killed.
There have been cases of the infected feasting on a victim's body after killing them, henceforth there might be a possibility that instead of this being a highly infectious virus, it is a parasite needing to be fed while invading a physical body. Some cases have reported to not only infect humans and animals, but some carnivorous and vining plants.

It is worsened by being under weight, malnourishment, extreme weather, extreme stress.
