Okey guys, jokes aside today I'm going to talk about something important. Yeah? Cool....
You know some day or the other,In sha Allah you will all be parents, some of you already are. You may have younger siblings.
I just want to write this so that this maybe helpful to you someday.
Last week by son had slight bleeding in one of his nostrils. At that time,I knew it wasn't serious so I remained calm. I wouldn't say the same for my husband though,he was in panic mode.
Today, My 'A' fell down and because of the pressure his nose started to bleed profusely. This time I panicked so much that I started to hyper ventilate. I was shivering and couldn't do anything properly. But thankfully I remembered my first-aid. I bent him down a little facing his knees and applied a little pressure on his nasal bone for five minutes. Alhumdulillah the bleeding stopped.
Somehow,I put on my jilbab n niqab. Pulled out my son's file. My husband was great help.
We went to the emergency and praise be to Allah,it wasn't a fracture but tests were taken. My son was strong Ma sha Allah,'A' was calm and patient whereas instead of supporting him I was busy hiding my tears. My hubby was pacing the floor, we were ready to hear my son shout in agony. Alhumdulillah he didn't,As I said he was calm and patient.
I just want to say that, during times of emergency one of you should stay calm if the other panicks. Remember your first aid and apply it if you are sure,If you don't know your first aid make sure you learn,It maybe useful to anyone in need. Stay calm n patient You need to be each other's support.
I'm just giving you a quick note here. If you ever face such a situation. Make the child bend forth and apply pressure below his nasal bone for five to ten minutes. Don't make him bend the other way or the blood gets carried to the lungs and the child may vomit blood. Same goes for adults too.
I hope if you are in a similar situation my advice would help you somehow, and don't forget to learn basic first aid.
