"Abel, this is not a good joke! Abel!"
I've been trying to catch up with his big and fast strides but the constrictions in my chest are not allowing me.
Abel showed me my faded reflection and pointed out that it wasn't the mirror's fault. It's because I'm losing my chances... My soul... I'm fading...
And I never saw his own reflection when he stood in front of the mirror.

"Abel, please. This is not funny." I pleaded for him to drop the prank when I managed to close our distance. "You couldn't just tell me that I should be dead and shit!"
"Then what is the truth, Michael?" His voice raised and his dark brown eyes are flaming with so much emotions. "You are a wandering soul, Michael. Like us! This is the perfect time to be honest with me, Michael! Tell me what do you know! Tell me who you are!"
"I know nothing!" I breathed, losing all the air I have in my body.
Abel examined my entire existence as his chest is heaving too. His eyes remained glassy and bloodshot and when his eyebrows moved in a certain way, his eyes softened despite of the fear and worry painted in his sight. He sniffed and massaged his clenching jawline, trying to fight the falling of tears.
"You thought you're alive... Your mind is just feeding you with what you thought is the reality." He whispered while nodding his head gently. "You thought that you're this lonely person who doesn't have a reason to wake up everyday. For you, life is just a routine, doing the same things over and over again..."
