After a full day of work I came home to find Nathan making out with another female.

So, I went to my room and texted my other two friends William and Skylar because I wasn't on speaking terms with Eva.


we agreed to meet at Skylar's house in an hour.



I have known Skylar since kindergarten, we used to play outside a lot or at her house, we never did go to my house because my parents were never home, and they didn't like it if people came to our house when they weren't home.

Skylar is really cheerful and open about everything, she is like a sister I never had, I know Elena is my sister but she just 17 years so that doesn't really count I can't talk to her about everything.

Skylar is brave, she never does anything bad.

And I'm happy that we are still friend.

I've known William since high school, he was new and we had to work together on a project, the rest is history.


William is the type of person you go to when you have boy problems, he knows best.

William is the same as Skylar, he's opens about everything, talks about everything and has the best humor.

He knows a lot about boys because he's gay, and maybe is weird to say that I have always wanted a gay friend.

Changing in some acceptable clothes, I grabbed my bag and coat and walked to the living room, Nathan wasn't there, so I guess he went to his room with that woman.

I stepped into the elevator and when I got down, I was greeted with that security guard.



"Miss Rivera, does Mr. Brown know that you're leaving?" He asked blocking the way.

"Yeah, I told him I'm going to some friends house, and I need to be home by 12" I lied.

"Alright have a nice night, do you want me to call the driver to bring you?"


"Oh no I have my license I can drive myself" I muttered walking passed him to the exit.

"Alright goodnight miss Rivera"

"goodnight" I whispered.

When I finally walked out the exit, I breathed out in relieve that I got past the security guard.

With one of Nathans car key in my hand I pushed on a button to see which one of the 4 cars I was driving.

The car ride was pretty peaceful, I listened to some music and sung some of it.

When I arrived at Skylar's house, I saw that William was already there, so I stepped out the car and knocked on the door.

"Hey girl!" William exclaimed when he opened the door "long time no see, come in!" He said giving me a hug.


"Yeah, I missed you guys" I replied hugging him back.


"Skylar is making some bomb ass cake, you have to try some" William stated grabbing my hand and dragging me to the kitchen.



Skylar has a beautiful home with her fiancée Noah, they are the perfect couple.

And the kitchen is her place, nobody but her can cook in there.

She does have a beautiful kitchen, everything is white with a marble countertop.

A big island and a tv in the kitchen!

"Hey sky" I walked to where she was standing and gave her a hug the same, I did with William.

"Hey! gosh Vic I haven't seen you for what? 4 months?" Skylar exclaimed hugging me back.
