The day in Manhattan, New York was a nice one. The wind was mild, the sun was shining bright above the city. And as usual people come and go from work, getting pissed off by taxis who stop for them. The day was normal, instead for Tony. He sat down at the counter of his private bar, drinking his favorite brand of whiskey, Jack Daniels. That was really all Tony ever did since the Alien Invasion. The only thing to distract him from his anxiety attacks or his nightmares. Tony took one more shot, throwing his back when a familiar British voice filled the room. "Excuse me sir."

Tony let out a sigh, parting the glass from his lip and placing it down the counter. "What is it?"

"It about Miss. Potts. She claims to be leaving."  Jarvis replied.

"What?! Where is she?" Stark stood up from his seat, and ran out of the room, into the hallways.

"She's currently walking out of your room with her bags."

The brunette frowned, going into the nearest elevator. He presses the 17th floor button, and the doors closes in front of him. Tony turns to the mirrors that surrounded him, rubbing his eyes before he presents himself to he. He haven't slept for days, nor he hardly ate anything instead of whiskey. He was always too busy drinking or working on his suit. Which also hasn't given him the chance to shower.

Why would she be leaving? Tony thought quietly. What did I do wrong this time?

The doors of the elevator opened, and the famous Pepper Potts was standing there waiting for it. She had her bags in her hands and the face of pure disdain when she seen the brunette. "Oh, it's you. What a surprise you left your bar." She spoke sarcastically, as she turned walking to the door that lead to the stairs. "I think I'll take the stairs."

"Pepper wait.." Tony walked after her and rested his firm hand on her shoulder, making her shrug him off roughly. "What did I do!? Is it because I'm bisexual!"

Pepper stopped in her tracts, turning herself around to face him. "No! You know that never mattered to me! Tony...I love you but this relationship is not working."

"You say you love me but you want to break up with me! You make no sense sometimes.... What did I do, Pepper?!"

"You drink, you always work on your suits, and you're never with me! It's like you ignore me completely and I'm only here to clean up after you. I can't live like this anymore, Tony... Goodbye." Pepper retorted, as she walked past the brunette into the elevator. Tony was too heartbroken to stop her. He just stood there, having tears form on the brim of her brown eyes. Pepper had pressed the lobby button, and the doors closed.

This is my fault. Tony thought, having tears roll down his cheeks. He wanted to fall apart right there, because now he had nothing. What's left of his broken heart, was now gone and he couldn't blame her. He was being selfish, cold and completely a dick. He clenched his fist tightly, then fell on his knees letting out a roar of anguish.

"Sir? I know this is a bad time but-"

"Jarvis.. not now." He was able to mewl out in the middle of his sobs.

"But sir.. There is a aircraft falling toward the city. It appears to have a Asgardians signature but I can't scan anyone inside. So as you say, ' Suit up' sir."  The British voice encouraged.

Tony just nodded, wiping his face as he got up. "Right, right.. Open up the window in my room and get ready to let out the Mark 7." The brunette walked back to his room, already feeling the wind come at him from the large open window. He let a sigh, then started to run towards the window, then with one leap, he was falling along side the tower. "Jarvis!"

"It's already coming, sir."

The Mark 7 flew around, falling behind Tony. It automatically opened up with it got the signal to do so from Tony's wrist bands. Tony managed to get inside and the armor closed up and the brunette was in full control. He neared the sidewalk, so Tony lifted up and flew upward. "Alright! I see our target.. Watch how awesome I am, buddy!"

"Of course, sir.."

Tony saw a burning spaceship, and widen his eyes a bit, seeing that Jarvis is scanning the object. "You said this was an Asgardian ship? Maybe it's Thor's buddies to come to make a dramatic entrance." Ironman explained, as he flew in front of the spaceship, and caught it from crashing. Tony let out a grunt not realizing this thing was that heavy. "Jarvis, activate thrusters."

"Yes sir.."

The suit opened up little rocket booster on the side of each hip, and it helped keep Tony up against the spaceship's weight. Tony noticed there was something or someone in the ship, so he squinted his eyes trying to see through the smoke. "Is that- Is that Loki!?" The Brunette issued.

"Indeed sir.. That is the trickster himself."

Tony growled, grasping the ship tightly and flew back over to the Avengers/ Stark Tower. Why would Loki be paying a visit here. Tony thought. The brunette flew over the platform on the very top of the Avengers tower and landed on it with a big thump. Tony dropped the spaceship right beside him. He already had his arm pointed at it, having a mini missile just in case of trouble. The hatch of the spaceship opened with a small pop, then a slim figure crawl out, landing on his feet. Tony opened his face plat, with a face of disgust. "You. Loki, what the hell are you doing here!?"

The figure had his hands behind his back, nonchalantly as possible trying to ignore the adrenaline from the experience. He had his raven black hair neatly slicked back, his green and gold costume as always finely pressed. Though, he was a little banged up from the ship. It was just as Tony remember him, a few years ago. "I have been sent by Thor to seek refuge here until he can come to get me."

"Why should I trust you, you bastard? You ruined my life!" Tony yelled, walking up to Loki.

The trickster, grew a grin on his lips not really afraid of Stark's little tantrum. "Stark, you can't trust me. But this time, you must. Now will you help me or not?"

Tony wanted to wipe that smug grin off of Loki's face but he refused. He wanted to kill him for what Loki did to him. All the anxiety attacks, the drinking addictions; it was all because of him. The brunette let out a low growl, then opened his suit up, and walked out of it. Tony was now about one inches shorter than Loki, so he stood on his toes. "Fine.. for Thor. Not for you."

Loki let out a small chuckle, looking at how short Tony was and nodded. "As you wish, Stark."

This is going to be fun Tony thought, as he turned and walked past his suit inside the building followed by Loki.
