and that feeling was friendship (gigner balls x wizar 🙏)

i think this friendship is becoming BESTfriendship 😳

For a while now, Wizard and Gingerbrave have grown closer as friends. They'd hang out more often and were somewhat inseparable. Newer cookies have made their homes in the kingdom and were more fit to battle which left the 2 more time to hang out. Wizard even completely forgot about the book Brave had kept.

Tonight, they stayed at the old tower. Brave was watching the stars from the windows and Wizard felt something building up inside him. A fuzzy feeling as if butterflies were fluttering all around. It sure as hell confused him.

'I've been feeling all like this around Gingerbrave.. and only around him..' He thought to himself, 'Maybe I'm just a bit excited since we're friends.. And he was right too, I guess we had stopped talking and.. i missed him a bit'

"Wizard, do you think we could go to space?" Gingerbrave turned to face Wizard with his sweet smile that made the other cookie's face heat up every time he saw it.

"I'm not sure that's possible, Gingerbrave"
"Aw man.. It'd be really cool to go with you"
"me?" Wizard's face heated up even more.
"Yeah! It could be just us.. together."

Wizard was surely going to pass out if Brave keeps this up. 'That bastard! Who does he think he is for making me feel this way?!'

"W-Well, that'd be nice, yes," was all the cookie could manage to say.

Neither cookie felt like going back to the kingdom. It was silent and peaceful, Wizard preferred this than Custard and Pancake screaming while Herb is freaking out because of a cookie stepping on his plants and Hollyberry is laughing loudly with Pure Vanilla telling her all types of stories meanwhile Espresso trying to get his boyfriend to shut the hell up. The kingdom was quite chaos.

They were laying down side by side. Wizard slowly started to notice how Brave was slowly scooting closer to him by the second and next thing yknow, their shoulders are brushing.

"Y-You're rather close, Gingerbrave," goddamnit! again with the stuttering?! Wizard cursed himself.
"Does it make you uncomfortable? I can move to the other side if you want," the cookie offered.

'Even his kindness gets me all fuzzy inside'  Wizard felt like a mess but he wasn't going to let Brave go that easily. "No please, stay here next to me... after all, it's easier for us to talk like this," Wizard said the last part a little awkwardly but Brave giggled and stayed put.

Gingerbrave, on the other hand, was extremely happy. He wanted to spend every moment next to Wizard, talking and laughing. He loved Wizard....'s company.

He still drew the lad, yes, he still admired him the same way he always has. Wizard was mesmerizing in his eyes. Suddenly, a small touch at his hand snapped him out of his thoughts. It was Wizard.. holding his hand.

Brave didn't mind at all, in fact he enjoyed this small touch. So he held Wizard's hand in reassurance it was okay. Wizard turned to face Brave, he'd been looking away this entire time and he was sure his face was still red.

Brave noticed this.

"Hey, you alright? Your face is red like Chili Pepper's," he joked.
"Oh yeah, um.. I'm alright! Don't know why my face is all red haha-," Wizard nervously answered.
"If you say so," Brave shrugged.

They were still holding hands, laying side by side, Gingerbrave being an oblivious idiot, Wizard having a feeling-crisis. It was quite a nice night for the both of them.
