Gingerbrave woke up to Chili woman /forgor her name sorry/ and Custard bugging him about going into the forest to claim more land. Unfortunately, cake hounds and such occupied the forest so they'd have to throw hands.
"We must expand territory! Your faithful king is growing tired of the same land, we need more room!" Custard whined. "I agree with this tiny yellow child," Chili nodded and took out her dagger "Unless you'd like to go the hard way"

Gasping, Brave quickly got out his bed "I'm up, I'm up! There's no need for that!.. But let me get ready first"

Wizard was already on his way to read his favorite book when Gingerbrave rudely interrupted him. "Wizard..," he whispered quietly like he hadnt already wasted precious miliseconds of Wizard's time. After no response, Brave got closer.
"Wizaaar-,"
"Oh please, Gingerbrave, what's so important that you come over right when I'm getting ready to read?!" Wizard suddenly snapped.
"Jeez my bad" Brave mumbled but continued, "Anyway, we need you to come with us to the dark forest! We could really use your.... wizardy spazazz"

"That's a stupid description of magic"
"Just come with me!" Brave grabbed Wizard's hand and dragged him out to meet up with the other 3 cookies.
After the run, Brave found himself wanting to form some type of bond with Wizard. The two didn't talk much at all and for some reason that bothered him.

"Hey Wizard, I've been thinking... could we-,"
"No"
"Huh?"
"I know what you're going to ask, Gingerbrave. You want to 'hang out' don't you? I'm rather busy studying my books and time isn't exactly in my favor" Wizard was already starting to walk away but Gingerbrave wasn't ready to give up.
"Just one night! You and me, we can go wherever you want and especially far away from the cookies of the kingdom so there's no interruptions. C'mon Wizard, can't we just at least... do what most friends do?"

....And that's how Gingerbrave ended up sitting awkwardly next to Wizard who was deep into his book. 'Getting away from the cookies' was probably the only reason Wizard even considered going out here with Brave.
"So... you're just gonna read the entire time?" Brave started and scooted slightly closer to Wizard.
"Precisely."
"Aren't we supposed to be.. bonding? Yknow.. like friends do?"
"You tell me."
'Well damn ok' Brave frowned and suddenly snatched the book out of Wizard's grasp.

"wh- Hey!" he shouted and quickly started chasing Brave through the empty forest area. Gingerbrave had no general clue where he was going but this was the only way Wizard would pay attention to him, even though the lad would probably hate him after this.
Suddenly Wizard felt a pressure hit him and soon realized Gingerbrave had tackled him, he squirmed and reached for the book as soon as he processed what had happened. Brave furthered the book from his companion and giggled.

"You think that's funny?" Wizard growled and tackled Gingerbrave, who had then pushed him off and threw a pile of leaves at him. Wizard coughed and was now panting tiredly and looked up to see Gingerbrave in the same state, but Brave couldn't help bursting out laughing. Damn, his laugh must be contagious since it got Wizard giggling too.

"See? Isn't this so much more funner than losing your mind in words?"
"Yeah, yeah. Give me my book back"
"No"

"...Gingerbrave I am not letting you keep one of my possessions."
"Okay then.. um.. Let's make a deal" —Brave got closer—"If.. If you agree to hang out with me every now and then, I'll return your book eventually"
"Then you just may never return it"
"Please?"

Wizard groaned, "You're so.. difficult!". Gingerbrave smirked in victory and Wizard just sighed, "Fine. I'll spare some time being held hostage by your dumb activities"

Gingerbrave celebrated in delight.
"Whoo-hoo! Now, for our next playdate.. how about tomorrow?"
"Fine."
"5pm?"
"Alright."
Brave sighed, it would take way too long before Wizard warms up to him but he was determined.
