A Latina girl stands before a teenage boy. She has a smirk on her face as she slides a piece of paper onto the chessboard in the park.

"And you're positive that you want to do this?" she asks, her question genuine though her tone is teasing.

"Yes- I- yes I am," the boy stammers in reply.

"Eight years isn't quite as long as you think, they'll be over like that," she snaps her fingers, and a red feather quill appears in her hand.

"I'm going to sign it, gimme- give me the pen," the boy says determinedly, grabbing for the quill.

"Here you go," she replies, handing it to him.

She stands back and watches the boy, the grin on her face has a sadistic tinge to it. The boy uses the quill and shakily signs his name on the dotted line, eyeing the girl's own signature in fear. He hands the quill back to the girl who now has a deceptive soft smile on her lips. She takes back the paper and looks him in the eyes.

"You've just made your deal with the devil," she grins, "I hope it was worth it."

With a snap of her fingers a cloud of red smoke appears, and a faint sound of wings are heard. Then, as the smoke clears, the girl is nowhere to be seen.
