"My sister, Astrid James, and her friend, Adriana Grey have known each other since the third grade. She's the one who set Astrid up with Jeremy. She knew I liked him, but I never mattered, according to Adriana at least.

"Adriana Grey had black hair with white dyed tips. She had a bob cut that flowed to the tips of her shoulder. Her eyes glow green when the moon's illuminating light hits perfectly. Her thin lips were always in a partial smile. She wore black and white clothes, normally crop tops and short shorts. She was petite with no curves on her body, but pretty nonetheless. She never went anywhere without dark makeup such as eye shadow and lipstick. She reminded me of a goth girl, which is why I think her fear is hilarious, quite ironic actually.

"Adriana helped carry the bags to the spot where Jeremy dropped the tent gear. She didn't stop to put it down, she dropped it on the ground just as Jeremy had. She walked past the spot and right to Astrid where she greeted her by catching up on their trip to the campsite. Jeremy held Astrid close to him all the while. He had one hand intertwined with hers and the other was rubbing her back. It took everything in my power not to knee her in the same place she was just massaged.

"Adriana and Astrid walked back into the RV we brought while laughing their heads off. As soon as they were out of view, I turned to Jeremy and tried flirting, but he quickly walked away. He couldn't handle the beauty I possessed.

"We had arrived later in the afternoon, and before no time, the sun had already started to set. Thankfully Jeremy set up the tent before it got too late. I watched as he took his shirt off because of the heat. His luscious abs were the only thing visible to me, and Astrid, but I can't blame her. I still wanted to bash her head in. I caught him watching me once, I knew he liked me two.

"Adriana's fear sucks the life out of everyone when it falls nighttime. I don't understand why everyone was okay with Adriana getting whatever she wanted. She could easily get whatever she wanted, including Jeremy. I don't know what possessed her to give him away in the first place. I fought back senseless with everyone there to put start a bonfire, but they refused. We used the kitchenette in the RV and sat around lanterns. We replaced fire with lanterns. What even is there to be scared of? It's beautiful.

"We had hotdogs for dinner that night. Astrid and Adriana kept teasing Jeremy with the sausage. I went to bed hungry, only haven eaten one. I couldn't sleep either. Unless I'm cuddled up next to someone, I can't sleep in the wilderness without the crackling sound of the fire.

"After a few hours, when midnight hit, I was woken up by the sounds of screaming. I rushed out of my tent and saw Adriana, burning in the fire. Astrid and Jeremy were too, watching as she burned. By the time I got out there, Adriana was fully engulfed by the flames. She looked like a bonfire herself. She made the true bonfire she was escaping from look weak. I was tempted to cook a few more hotdogs with her body as she screamed bloody murder.

"Shortly after, everyone else was out there too. Well, everyone except Emma Jones. She was nowhere to be found.

"Jason Gutierrez ran inside the RV to grab a bucket of water the put out the new bonfire, and Jeremy followed. Astrid frantically paced back in forth and whispered to herself. Everyone else ran around, doing their best to put the fire out. I stood right outside my tent, watching the bonfire squirm and scream on the ground. It was beautiful. The light lit up the surrounding nature as crickets sang and birds flew from tree to tree. Slowly it all came to an end. The moving stopped, so did the screams, and the light slowly started to fade. Jason ran back out of the RV with a bucket full of tab water and splashed it on the human bonfire. Jeremy followed close behind and dumped his water. There was still a flame going, so Kenneth Norman and Astrid started stomping on Adriana's lifeless body.

"It was obvious she went through some torture, poor thing. Most of her clothes were eaten by the flames, the only thing left were her bra, underwear, and socks. Upon seeing her dead body, it was still obvious there was no need for the bra left behind. She was burnt at the tips of her hair and if it weren't for the water, they would've been able to easily be turned to ash. Her bare flesh was bubbling from the water that instantly started boiling once it hit her. Adriana's skin looked like one of a worn-out doll that was never played with. Her eyes were open in fear and pain. Her lips were burnt off. There were scratch marks all over her body from where she tried extinguishing the flames herself.

"I'd never seen anything that beautiful in real life. I'd seen things like that on movies and shows before, and I've heard stuff like this being talked about, but it's different when you see it yourself. I never wanted to watch a horror film again, no one can fake this properly and make it look this real; this beautiful.

"Jason Gutierrez and Fallon Bell panicked and started crying. Fallon vomited on herself and Jason felt dizzy. He stumbled on his butt as tears streamed down his dark face. Fallon started screaming and eventually passed out. Jason fell unconscious shortly after.

"Kenneth Norman stared at the lifeless body in shock. He slowly walked away with big eyes and a shaky torso when he couldn't look anymore.

"Astrid James wrinkled her face and looked as if she were the one who just got burned. She rubbed her bare arms in discomfort and turned to look at the crowd. There wasn't anyone left, except me and Jeremy.

"Jeremy walked up to his girlfriend and shook her back into concentration. She looked at him and back at the body next to her. Jeremy silently wrapped his arms around her shoulders and walked back to the RV. He turned to look at me one more time that night.

"I, Debra James, stood in the same spot, longingly staring at the body. The second bonfire was still holding on. Someone started the bonfire, and I was glad they did. We could now start a fire every night before bed.

"Now there were only seven. Kenneth Norman, Emma Jones, Jason Gutierrez, Fallon Bell, Astrid James, Debra James, and Jeremy Crest."
