He's had his eye on her all day.
The moment she walked into this house with her hair back in cornrows with the ends caught in a curly bun to the moment she started blowing up balloons, her flushed cheeks inflating as she grabs black and red balloons from the bag provided.
Remi and Luca are sitting beside each other on the floor, Adriano is out with the birthday boy himself, and here he is — watching his brother's girlfriend's best friend blow up balloons for his brother's girlfriend's son's birthday.
She's pretty, a septum piercing highlighting her button nose, lashes full and lips glossed despite her constant use of them. Makes him wonder if it would stay if they were wrapped around his cock.
It was insane to him that they hadn't even had a full conversation before he imagined what she would look like on her knees but it was not like he needed many words. He's horny. Frustrated. Celibate for months, but not by choice.
The party went by, laughs and glances being stolen from across the room. Jori had been running all around the room, jumping off the walls in his Spiderman costume, while Serina has been screaming in companionship.
The house was packed and, of course, Angel needed a break from the constant things being thrown at him, one of those items being a pillow Adriano threw at him to get the frown off his face.
To be fair, he hadn't realized the look on his face was actually on his face, especially since he realized he was having the time of his life staring at the woman who'd entered his family home just hours ago.
Now, he stands in the kitchen for refuge, eyes wandering as he sips his drink - virgin, considering he didn't find it appropriate to drink in front of the kids.
He was thinking - something he doesn't allow himself to do often. Stir in his thoughts. First, it was the recovery from fighting off another villain that doesn't have anything better to do than torment the family. Then it was a regrouping of his racing heart that seems to skip a beat whenever he meets the eye of Remi's best friend.
They hadn't even had a conversation past introductions before they were pushed into decorating by Remi and Luca who were cuddled up together. Angel did find their interactions partially cute, and partially disgusting. But who was he to judge?
Moments pass as his tongue pokes the inside of his cheek in silent contemplation. It's only when he hears the sound of padded feet approaching the kitchen that he looks up to see Talia. Her head is down in her phone, fingers tapping away as if she was born to move her fingers like that in quick succession. He remains silent as if he's trying to blend into nothingness, but that all goes to shit when she looks up and meets his eye.
He'd expected her to cower a bit, freeze, and apologize for intruding on his silent time. Maybe even turn away and just pretend she didn't walk in on him doing absolutely nothing. Instead, she tilts her head and smirks.
"Hiding away?" She questions and for a second, Angel's breath hitches in his throat. Of course, he'd heard her talk to Remi but that was him peeping into their conversations about how excited she was to meet Jori. He hadn't actually heard her speak with intention - at least to him. But now that he has, his heart is in shambles. Her voice sounds like honey, her tone stern yet innocent, her American accent heavy but not obnoxious like the many American people he's met.
He narrows his eyes and finally stands, towering over her despite the distance between them and the kitchen island separating them.
"No."
Oh? He surprised himself with that one. He thought he was about to say something flirty, something that would have her drop on her knees right here and now and suck him off, but that's all he could muster.
No.
If anything, that makes him want to redeem himself but he says nothing. He can't bring himself to right now. He's too much in his head.
Talia takes this opportunity to step forward, her phone now off and tucked in the waistband of her flared leggings. That was another thing for Angel - her body. She is absolutely unreal from what he can currently see and despite her fairly modest outfit - a sweater and leggings - he can use his imagination quite clearly.
"No?" She says in a tone that makes Angel want to roll his eyes at how stupid he sounded, "I'm assuming you had more to add to that."
He bites his lip, a bit of confidence trickling back in, especially when she rounds the table and steps closer to him, "Do you like to assume?"
Talia shrugs, "Only when I know I'm right." She pauses and turns to lean back against the counter, facing him but a bit out of his direct reach. "Just like I can assume you are a very frustrated man who could use a break."
Angel chuckles, "I'm frustrated, tesoro, but not in a way that you can help. What with you being Remi's friend and all."
The woman smiles before she stands up straight again, face closer to Angel's than he expected but she just nods and steps back, "That sounds like something to sleep on." And judging by the look she sends Angel's way, he knows that there won't be much sleep tonight.
