Okay I just wanted to say that I'm not sure where this story is going and I have writers block for it. If you guys want me to continue it, I NEED suggestions from you!! Tell me what you want to happen, who you want to appear, any places you want in it, who you ship,short pieces, suggestions, what you like, what you don't like.... The list is endless. Cara's P.O.V

I was woken by a pounding on my door. "Let me in Mar let me in now!" I'd recognise that voice anywhere. It was Áine, my best friend. Some people would say we were like sisters but both of us knowing how annoying siblings can be we don't say it. We treat each like family though(minus the fights)

I turned to look at my clock.7:17am. Weird she usually doesn't wake me before 8. "Cara Amelia DuBois if you don't open this door right now I'll.." "You'll what?" I called to her teasingly. I heard her growl to herself and then her footsteps down the stairs. I knew she wouldn't leave without me, so I got up and got dressed. I was very glad I did because only moments after I heard a latch open and Áine jumped in through my window.

For once I was speechless."How did you do that?!"I demanded. She shrugged. "Why couldn't you just wait outside the door like a normal person!!?" She looked at me seriously, her aqua eyes locking with my blue.

"Okay Cara first of all since when have we been normal and second of all name one time when have I done things the ordinary way?" She didn't give me a chance to answer before continuing on. "The normal way is boring. As a great author once said 'Doors are for people with no imagination'. And we both know that we're always getting told off for being too imaginative. I mean what did you expect!"

"I'm not sure what I expected, but I am impressed you managed to say all that with a straight face!". As soon as I finished speaking we both dropped our façades and doubled up laughing.

"Anyway c'mon Mar you gotta come see this!" Áine started moving towards the window. "No Áine please no the door's unlocked this time" I pleaded to no avail as I was pushed perilously close to the window. "Live on the wild side for once Mar!" With that I fell out the window. I landed on the extension roof and slid down that. As I saw the edge nearing I closed my eyes and screamed.I felt the roof disappear from beneath me and I waited to hit the ground and possibly die or break a few bones. I was thinking of ways I'd kill Áine for pushing me out a bloody window when I realised I hadn't hit the ground. In fact someone seemed to be holding me.

I reluctantly opened one eye to check who it was. A man was looking down at me.I thought I recognised his face from somewhere, but I couldn't put my finger on it. He was laughing(well not really, more gruffawing)at my having one eye screwed shut tightly and one staring straight at him.His smile disappeared so quickly I wondered had it ever been there at all."Why did you jump out that window"he asked seriously. "I..uh...um..I was pushed" I replied awkwardly. "You were pushed?! You were pushed!" "Umm....yeah....but she jumped out after me."

"What, is she a ghost? There's no one jumped out after you!" He looked up as if making sure, his black hair flopping around his face as he moved. Sorry but who are you?" "I'm uh.. I'm Cara..." "Well hello Cara, you don't seem to be a very inquisitive lassie do you?" "Actually I'm very curious if I'm given a chance to talk!" "Fine then lassie here's your chance." "Yeah okay then, I'd like to thank you for catching me but also it would be nice to know who you are! And can you put me down too, if you don't mind." He put me down slowly."Okay, let's start again" "Fine" I replied. "Hi, I'm Cara", I said extending my hand. "Hello lassie, I'm here to protect you."
