Broken (a miraculous fanfiction)

Chapter 3

I ended up infront of Adriens house. I hoped that he was with his father. I started walking towards my house. I went up to my room, and all the kwamis started surrounding me.

"I lost her." I said. "I was akumatized and lost her." The kwamis all looked at each other with fear in their eyes. "I should have never been made guardian." I say. "I could have handed you guys over too."

Suddenly, something lands on my balcony. I head up to see what it was. It was chat noir. "Why'd you run away? Everyone was just trying to apologize." He asked.

I took a deep breath. He had to know. "Because in the process of me being akumatized, I lost my earrings and tikki." I said. His eyes widened. "Ladybug?" He asked. I nodded.

He walked over to me and gave me a hug. I hugged back. "We will get tikki back." He said. Then he blurted out, "im Adrien agreste!" I blush. We continued to hug.

I suddenly had an idea. There's no way shadowmoth would go anywhere without my miraculous now.

"Go to the TV station. Film something asking him to meet you somewhere. Tell him you'll give him your miraculous. Make sure it's shown on every screen in paris. When he meets you there, I'll be hiding. I'll sneak up behind him and grab my miraculous. If I have time, I'll grab the peacock and butterfly as well." He nodded.

He picked me up, and we headed over to the TV station. We quickly filmed a video telling him to meet us here. We posted it on every screen.

Time skip.

He finally showed up and went over to chat noir. "How do I know that this isn't a trap?" He asked. Chat threw his stick away from him. Shadowmoth smiled.

I creeped out from my hiding spot, and slowly headed towards him. I stood behind him, and grabbed my earrings.

"So, are you going to give me your miraculous or not?" He asked. I quickly put on my miraculous, and then reached over to grab his.

He finally noticed my presence and threw me towards the wall. "So this was a trap!" He said. He lunged himself towards chat noir, but chat dodged it.

"Tikki, spots on!" I said. I transomed into ladybug, and threw my yo-yo towards shadow moth. He dodged it, and ran out of the studio. We went after him, but lost sight of him.

We went back over to my house, and we both slipped into my room. "Spots off." I said. The first thing tikki did was hug me. I hugged her back.

I turned towards chat noir. "It will be to dangerous for me to continue my role as ladybug. Or even as guardian." I tell him. "No please no!" Chat said. "You'll lose your memory!" I smile. "I would rather forget everything that's happened." I said. A tear ran down my face.

"Your going to be the new guardian, chat noir. You'll give my miraculous to someone you trust. If you ever need advice, read this." I hand him a book. I wrote it just incase I ever needed to relinquish my title.

I lean over and give him a kiss on the cheek. The kwamis started swarm me. Begging me not to do it. "You'll always be my kitty." I tell chat noir. I see a tear run down his face

"I, Marinette Dupan-Cheng, here by relinquish the miracle box, and name Chat Noir the new guardian." I say.

My body starts to glow. Memory after memory disappearing.

Chat noir P.O.V.

The glow fades, and I see a confused marinette standing there. "Where am I? Who are you?" She asks. "My name is Chat noir." I says. "Come with me."

She takes my hand, and I jump down to the street. We enter the bakery. Mari's parents rush over. "What happened?" They ask. "She hit her head, which must of caused amnesia." I tell them. They take their daughter in their arms. I smile. Maybe now marinette can have a fresh start. Be happier.

I wave goodbye and head back to my house.
