once they got off the train they made their way to the carriages, when they reached their own carriage they all crowded in along with one other girl
Sybill Trelawney
callisto was friends with the ravenclaw girl and would defend her in anyway she could "hi sybill, how was your summer?" this seemed to make the other girl realise she wasn't alone "oh my summer was fantastic thank you for asking, I would ask how yours was but I'm guessing you were stuck with this lot" sybill and callisto were both laughing as she pretended to whisper the last sentence
james and sirius had the cheek to look offended while remus and peter laughed, both able to take a little joke without making a big deal of it

they were sat in the great hall joking and laughing when suddenly silence took over the entire room, the only sound being that of the first years and McGonagall walking up the center of the hall, may the guessing games begin
"okay shes definitely gonna be hufflepuff " james had said this with confidence thinking he was right, and only seconds later the hats voice filled the room, "Ravenclaw!" this caused most of gryffindor table to start laughing at james only to be told to shut up by McGonagalls death glare
silence once again crept over the gryffindors for the remainder of the sorting ceremony

all other gryffindors were now in bed while the marauders plus callisto were sat around the fire in they're usual places - yes they have usual places they sit like any sane person would
callisto was in a pair of pajama shorts and one of remus' hoodies, honestly it looked like a mini dress on her and her shorts were completely covered- that's not the point though - she was cuddled into remus' side half asleep as the boys were planning their start of year prank
well she was half asleep until sirius loudly clapped and stood up causing her to jump a bit and remus to look at her "right now that that's sorted lets head to bed, tomorrow we can sneak to hogsmeade and get supplies for the prank but for now i need my beauty sleep" and with that sirius was heading up the stairs to the boys shared dorm with james and peter following shortly after
when remus went to get up he noticed something or rather someone was still pinning him down, looking down he realised that somehow while sirius was speaking she had fallen asleep and ended up holding onto his t-shirt, he moved from under her making sure to be careful in case he woke her up
he carefully lifted her from where she was sleeping on the sofa, once he had her in is arms he made his way up towards his dorm knowing the girls staircase would turn into a slope and he would go sliding waking up the sleeping girl in his arms
once he reached his room he put callisto down on his bed and made sure she was comfortable before moving to his side of the bed to get comfortable and go to sleep
after some tossing and turning remus fell asleep

when remus woke up the dorm was empty the only people occupying the room being him and a sleeping callisto, peter had at least the slightest bit of decency to leave a note that he scribbled as they were leaving, saying they were headed to breakfast and that he would grab remus a chocolate muffin since every Saturday there were chocolate muffins, best day of the week is what remus likes to think
"hey ally, we should get down to the hall and meet up with the others" he lightly shook her not wanting to shock her out of whatever dream she was having, after a few seconds of shaking her he could hear her mumble "five more minutes" while she snuggled her head against his chest "c'mon ally your brothers and peter are going to be waiting on us" with a final groan she got up and walked to her dorm she shared with lily- perks of having an odd number of girls in her year, she got to bunk with lily and her friends
sighing remus also sat up and started searching his trunk for a pair of black trousers to go with the sweater he was holding "aha" he had found the trousers folks
once remus was dressed with his teeth brushed and his hair sorted out he almost literally flung himself out the dorms door as he was trying to get his boots on- casting whatever spell it was that tied them, he didn't have time for that-
he stopped in his feeble attempt to get out the door at the sight of callisto - ally - walking down the stairs from her dorm "hey, I've been looking for that sweater for months, since last Christmas break i think" this stopped ally from walking past him "oh i didn't even realise i had kept it for so long, would you like it back? i mean i'm only going to take another one after returning this one so up to you" remus stammered slightly before answering "no, no its fine it looks good on you really!"
she smiled at him "oh are you trying to flirt with me Mr. lupin? my, oh, my" she slightly shakes her head "the other girls wouldn't be too pleased to hear their favorite single marauder is flirting with his best friends little sister now would they?" this made remus go red in the face"ally i didn't mean it like that" he tried to reason only for her to laugh it off
"what am i just a sister to you too? callisto lupin or some shit?" she started to shake her head slightly as she silently laughed "c'mon you said the others were waiting on us in the hall yeah?" she tugged on his sleeve pulling him out of the gryffindor common room
remus however was lost in thought as he let her drag him through the castle, callisto lupin, he knew she didn't mean it like that, but the thought of her with his last name sent a jolt through his stomach, and he didn't like this feeling not one bit.

"oi moony you haven't listened to a single thing we just said did you?" sirius started to wave his hand in front of remus' face, until he noticed where remus happened to be looking "oh" sirius looked at james making sure he was still engaged in a conversation with peter before continuing "so peter was right about all that thinking you like my sister huh?" this immediately got remus' attention
"whaaat are you on about?" he drags out the 'a' sound trying to seem like he was totally innocent of sirius' 'accusation', sirius shook his head "oh no we aren't doing this, she wears your clothes in fact you let her wear your clothes, she sleeps in your bed, and don't try saying 'oh but the stairs to the girls dorms would turn to a slope' you forget the stairs can sense if your intentions with the girls are good or bad, bad being sexual- i'm getting off track here, basically what i'm saying is you cannot sit there and tell me you feel nothing towards her when you've been doing these things for over three years"
remus just sat staring at sirius with a shocked expression "close you mouth would you, don't want to be catching flies in there now do ya?" remus shut his mouth looking up at ally, who for some reason had decided to sit next to him instead of lily, sirius was laughing of course he was laughing this had to be so funny to him watching remus go red in the face again around the girl he thought of to be a sister knowing, oh yeah he knew, remus wouldn't get with ally in that way because of her relation to both sirius and james
when remus pulled himself from his thoughts he watched her talk animatedly about charms - a subject she loves and has loved since first year- and for some reason all he could think about was how beautiful she looked even waving her arms about to get a point across, even if she did look slightly manic
"well I better be off to the library of I ever want to complete my summer work before classes start" she stood from the table grabbing a scone before turning around and heading towards the entrance of the Great Hall "oh!" she stopped, turned around and waved slightly at remus "bye Remus"
remus sat there in a daze as he watched the girl turn back and continue to the library "my god man you have it bad" he turned to see sirius drinking tea that peter undoubtedly made -he makes the best tea- he was looking at remus with a lopsided smile
"what do you mean 'have it bad' she just said bye" remus was still looking at the girl who got sidetracked by her ravenclaw friends while leaving "and you're still looking at her" sirius gave him a small smile before getting up and going to speak to Marlene
when remus looked back at the girl in question he noticed her speaking to someone she usually didn't speak to,
