Estella was on edge, after that letter. She had started her career at St Mungo's. Her senior was strict man, and she intended to be on his good side, but Cormac was not helping in the slightest. "Will you stop talking, I'm trying to focus on this case." Estella snapped at Cormac one day, but he just smirked at her and said, "I will if you answer my question." "Fine!." she said with a raised voice. "Will you go on a date with me?." He asked her. Looking at him in shock, she was getting angry by the minute. "What gave you the idea that I will accept your this stupid offer.?" She asked him in low growling voice. "Oh you know, I thought you gave a chance to the Death Eater scums, so why not a genuine person with good background." He replied as if he just didn't insulted her family and fiance. "I recommend you to keep that mouth of yours shut before I make it shut for you." came a voice from the door. They both snapped their head to see Healer Joseph, their senior, standing on the doorway with angry face. "Healer Joseph. I was just.." "Shut up. Healer McLaggen. None of this shit in my office. Understood?." He roared at him. McLaggen nodded with head bowed. Estella was fighting her tears. "I'm sorry Healer Joseph, I didn't completed this report." He waved at her, dismissing her worries saying, "It's ok Healer Black. You can take your time, as I can see certain someone was distracting you from your work." Glaring at McLaggen, he went back to his work.

"Got any traces on this report?." Harry asked Draco, who shook his head in reply. "None. The wards are making it difficult to study the traces. It is some kind of dark magic." "Harry, any progress on the letter?." Hermione asked while entering the office. He shook his head to her question. "No, I have asked Katie, she said that it will take time, to know who exactly sent it. As it was sent 2 years ago, so have to wait for that." They both nodded, and Ron entered the office in panicked state. "Mate!. There was an attack in Diagon Alley 'The Greenstone' is the name of the store, hurry up." The three made an eye contact, it was the store owned by Pansy and Greengrass sisters. They all took their cloaks and went after Ron. They reached the crime spot, to see the glass was shattered all over the place. One side of the store was burning, and there were many injured. Looking at the injured, Draco saw, Astoria and Pansy but couldn't find Daphne. Making his way to them, he asked, "Tori. What happened?. Where is Daphne.?." As if now registering what was happening around them, they both looked at him with wide eyes. "I don't know Draco. One minute she was with us, other minute a huge explosion occurred, and then I blacked out. Where is she?." Pansy said in place of Astoria. "Malfoy. We need to take them to hospital, along with others." came voice of his senior. He nodded and helped them.

Estella was doing her rounds when emergency sirens were heard in the hospital. She quickly made her way to the front to see many people were injured and were being carried to the wards, she stepped forward to help but faltered when she saw Daphne one of them. Her whole face was bleeding along with her lower body being burnt brutally. She went to her side to check her pulse, but it was very faint. "Quick, get her to OT. We need to save her." She ordered one of the nurses.
When she went in the OT, she thought back of her conversation with Daphne, a day before.

"So, what is the problem Daph?. " Estella asked her. "I have been throwing up my meals every now and then. I first thought it as a stomach bug, but then it came to my mind why not to check out whether I'm pregnant or not. Can you?." Daphne said hesitating, Estella smiled at her. "Why not, wait lemme just see the incantation one more time and we will check it out. Ok?." Daphne nodded. Estella took out the book with the spell and read it. After few minutes she looked at Daphne and said, "Ready? If it is purple, it means you are not, but if it turns pink in color then you are pregnant." Giving her a nod, Daphne lied down on the bed. "Graviditius." said Estella pointing the wand at her abdomen, and held her breath. After a minute, her abdomen turned pink. "I'm pregnant." Came her whisper. Estella hugged her. "Congratulations." Daphne was happily crying in her embrace.

'No!. She's Ok.' Estella shook her head, and helped her fellow peers in healing Daphne. After few minutes loud beep were heard from the heart rate monitor, "Healer Black, we lost her." said one of her colleague. She shook her head and started giving them instructions. "Morgan give her CPR, Jason, give me the defibrillator." Placing it on either side of her chest she said, "Clear." And all her peers stood aside, she pushed the buttons on the defibrillator. Giving two minutes she again did the procedure. And after 3 shocks Daphne started to take short breaths. And they resumed their healing on her.

Outside the Operation Theatre, all her friends were waiting. When Harry, Hermione and Draco came hospital with Astoria and Pansy, they were told that Estella had taken Daphne to the OT, as she was in very critical condition. Blaise and Theo were also been alerted about the attack. Everyone was restless. It had taken them almost an hour in there. But still no news on Daphne's condition. After approximately an hour and half, the door opened, and out stepped the other healers. Finally it was Estella, her robes were all covered in blood, everyone was looking at her in alarm, she took off her mask, and said, "She's stable.' taking a deep breath, she said, grimly, 'But we couldn't save your baby' earning a round of gasps, 'we still need to keep her under observation, till further notice." Nodding at Blaise, she said, "She's unconscious, after she's been shifted to the main ward, you can meet her." She excused herself, and went to her office. Draco had followed her, only to see her composing herself. "She's an excellent Healer, but I think seeing your close one, in that condition always brings out the worst in you." Healer Joseph said from behind him. Patting on his shoulder, he went inside, "Healer Black. Good job. You proved that I can count on you." He said sternly but in soothing voice. She looked up, and smiled at her senior, then she saw Draco, "Let's go." he said. And took her to the ward where their friends were.
