2 months later

It's been 2 months since the breakup, and Y/N has still been doing her job since it's her obligation but also her means of distraction.

She's been cold and lost her kind aura instead she's been vicious, ferocious, bitter, in other words a bitch. Her demeanor of being intimidating, mean, and powerful has become her attitude recently.

Kids and babies has been the only way to soften her down these days. I mean they won't hurt, they can bite, but they won't put you in emotional pain.

It's almost midnight and Y/N is still working, it doesn't seem like she'll be going anywhere else anytime soon. Until her assistant noticed the change of persona her boss has been in.

"Y/N, it's almost 12. Are you not gonna go home ?" Hailee enters her boss's office concerned.

"No." She coldly replies.

"Ok. Talk." Hailee looks at her seriously. "What ?" Y/N says confused.

"I haven't seen you this bitchy since a long time, is it still because of the three ?"

Hailee found out what happened when Y/N didn't show up in the office for a few days. She saw Y/N heartbroken and basically lifeless when she went to her house. That was the last time Y/N had any intimate moment with Hailee or anyone. After that she went rouge.

"No, I'm not going to tell you anything." She scoffs.

"You will either talk or I will quit." Her assistant threatens.

"Do you really think that would work, I'll do fine without you Hailee." She taunts.

"Seriously Y/N, what's up with you ?" Hailee worries.

"Ok fine. I know I was the one who broke it off with them, but I'm questioning whether that was the right decision. I just didn't want to ruin anything.

Have you talked to them or their assistants ? Are they alright ?" Y/N finally decides to open up.

"I've talked to their assistants and you are all floating on the same boat. They haven't been doing very well. Scarlett, Elizabeth, and Brie hasn't talked to each other since what happened." Hailee honestly tells her boss.

Y/N looks down, feeling guilty of what she did. It turns out that she ruined their relationship in the end.

"I think you always make logical decisions in your life, but sometimes it's ok to balance both your emotions and your logic. Especially in your relationships." Hailee advises Y/N.

"So you're my therapist now ?" Y/N mocks Hailee.

"Yes I am. You've always put everyone's needs first before your own and now that you have your own desires you did it again. You listened to the judgement of others than your own heart. Hailee spits out facts.

"Were you going to choose ?" Hailee asks curiously.

"What ?"

"You broke up with them because you thought you would ruin things, and you were scared of what could've happened, you thought you were being selfish. But you didn't break up with them because you didn't want to be together. You liked all three but if they made you choose, would you choose between them ? Hailee explains the whole situation to her.

"I-I don't know. I lik- love them but it just seems selfish of me to pick between them." She starts to think about the situation.

"You didn't answer the question."

Lunch

Y/N's Pov -

I got lunch with Florence who I haven't seen in a while. I still wondered about the conversation I had with Hailee yesterday. I thought about her question.
