Name: Canarysong

Past names: Canarykit, Canarypaw

Name reasoning: Canary because his fur matches the patterns of some canary birds and song in honor of his mother.

4/5! The prefix 'Canary' is very underused and in my new top three! Just beware that the suffix 'song' is rather overused and having a suffix to honor a lost loved one. Still a nice name though!

Realistic approach: Not very realistic, if realistic at all.

Appearance: Canarysong is a medium-furred tortoiseshell tom with white paws and navy blue eyes. His body type is tall, fit, and lanky.

8/10. You're not going for the realistic approach, I know, but I would like to point out that having a Male cat be a tortie or calico is VERY rare. Since females have a XX chromosome and males have the XY, the females would most commonly be tortie or calico since they need the XX chromosome. Not saying it's not possible! Just rare. Also the blue eye thing but I'll let it pass!  

Personality: Canarysong is a charming and confident cat, but he lacks sensitivity and intelligence. He is also quite of a sporty/physical cat.

7/10. So yes, this is short, but I don't really care.It's still well-balanced! Yet I would recommend making it longer in the future.

Family: Mother—Brightsong (Deceased). A tortoiseshell she-cat with pale green eyes, sleek fur, white paws, and somewhat long legs. Father—Brokenheart (Unknown). A tall pure white fluffy tom with navy blue eyes.

Backstory

Canarykit was born to his mother Brightsong and his father Brokenheart. His father left him at a young age because he didn't like the idea of being a father. 

The father leaving is rather cliche, if he is going to leave perhaps shake it up a bit? Like maybe he was ready to be a father, then realized something and had to leave?

When Canarypaw became a medicine cat apprentice, he started to have a crush on a tom named Brackenpaw. His mentor later told him that medicine cats were not allowed to have mates, so Canarypaw was forced to stop loving Brackenpaw. His mother soon died of greencough, and when Canarypaw became a full medicine cat before his mentor died, his mentor gave him the name Canarysong in honor of his mother.

This is rather sudden-! Anyway, good job for none of the forbidden love thing! It's SO overused so great job stopping that! 

 When he was 23 moons old, a member of the Dark Forest came to him in a dream and told him to kill certain kits and apprentices in order to save his Clan from evil. At first, Canarysong thought it was just a joke, until a warrior nearly killed the RiverClan leader. Then, he started to believe this cat. And so, Canarysong guided kits and apprentices into the forest and shoved deathberries down their throat, resulting in the cat dying in minutes. He is a murderer, but it's for the good of his Clan.

An evil-ish OC! Even tough he was guided by a Dark forest cat, I still like the idea of a evil cat. You NEVER see them anymore!

 He started having suicidal thoughts, thinking that the Clan would be better off without him and that they needed a better medicine cat who didn't put a paw in three worlds (StarClan, RiverClan, and the Dark Forest). He also made it clear to his mother in a dream that he should never have been born and should just have died as a kit. Brightsong tried to calm her son down, saying things like he was a good medicine cat and what he was doing was good for the Clan, but Canarysong didn't listen. He attempted to jump off a sheer cliff, but his apprentice, Bluepaw, stopped him very quickly.

Gold star to Bluepaw! It's nice that his mother tried to calm him down.

 The two walked back to camp and Canarysong was forced to tell Bluepaw that he was suicidal and wanted to kill himself. The medicine cat apprentice asked why, and he told her that a Dark Forest cat keeps appearing in his dreams and telling him to kill certain cats, even the ones that he loves. Bluepaw never had suicidal thoughts, but she felt really bad for Canarysong and promised that she would try to help get rid of the Dark Forest warrior.

34.7/50. Aww, if you ended a book like that it would be so sweet yet sad! Anyways, I can't give you full on points since it was short, but it did help me understand. I do have questions though.

1 - Why did he become a medicine cat apprentice?

2 - Why did he actually kill kit's and apprentices, when he could have just killed warriors he didn't trust? He may not be following the exact orders of the Dark forest cat but he still could somewhat follow them.

3 - Is his mother a Dark forest cat? She did say what he was doing is right. . . even though it's really not.

4 - Why did he even listen in the first place to this Dark forest cat-? Even though a cat tried to kill their leader, he still didn't have to!

Anyways, Canarysong is a great OC that needs some tinkering. I hope I wasn't to harsh, if I was apologizes.
