Tiles danced and spun as the casita welcomed the family back, and greeted the new family with a wave from the door. Casita was definitely happy to be back and well, ushering the Martinez's to their doors.Villagers flocked in the tall house, that was most different to the Madrigal's. Kids exclaiming that 'it's better than the Madrigals?!' And that 'it's even bigger!',some villagers even brought in some food to welcome the loving family and to show that they are welcome here.
On the exterior, their was patches of colour just like the Madrigals casita, but it was much more deeper colours and some areas had patterns, painted in by Ivy and Iris being their mischievous selves. Smoke streaming out of the chimney, alerting more of the townspeople of their arrival.
Abuela rubbed her hands together as she side hugged Abuelo. "We have a new family!" Everyone cheered and laughed as the families gathered together to take a picture, showing off their incredible powers. "Let's celebrate!" Booming music started playing as many people danced merrily, some kids taking a peek at all of the family members cool new rooms.
Meanwhile, Francesca wasn't all that fussed about a celebration. She never really like parties, even in their old village. She sat in her room. It was kinda formatted like a circus. There was the red and white striped tent covering nearly the whole room, and inside being a ring of fire with a course of fire rings and fire swords for Fran to practice her talented skills. But when you walked into the room there was a platform before it, like a decking where a nice cozy living room spot was, and a hammock bed and in the rooms, lots and lots of candles.
Suddenly, the silence got interrupted by a little knock at the door. "Francesca? What are you doing here? We should be celebrating." Cynthia, Fran's mother sat by her side on the sofa as she placed a strand of dark red hair behind her daughters ear.
"Oh, uhm. . . Nothing, I just don't really wanna be down there. Dancing and such." Her mother gave her a knowing look as she rested her arm around her on the deep red sofa. "I just don't really feel right? Abuela seems very excited that we're here, it's almost like she's desperate for help, like she doesn't care about US."
When the Martinez's were showing off their gifts, Abuela seemed mesmerised and in deep thought, thinking what they could be useful for. Francesca never liked every day in the morning lighting everyone's candles, always the first Martinez to get up. And putting on a show for the townspeople. But she was never forced to of course, her Abuelo is a very generous and kind man and cares for his family more than anything.
Abuela only cares about the miracle, which in her opinion is the candle and gifts.
Cynthia glanced into her lap and sighed, nodding slightly biting her lip. "Yes I do see your point. But don't worry hija, I'm sure she means well." Soon, the women stood up and stretched out her arm. "Come on, let's go have some fun."
