Chapter 5~

A/N: I'm really sorry for not updating. Again. I have had some stuff going on but its all okay now, and I will consider making a schedule for uploads so I can upload a new chapter regularly. Thats all for now, Thanks for reading <3

Elizabeth stared at the glimmering figure approaching her. It finally came into view and could clearly be seen by Elizabeth as a human, but why did it look like a fish a minute ago? The person walked at a slow pace out of the water, hesitating every once in a while as if it was scared of Elizabeth. When the figure finally halted in front of her, it was clear it was a boy. He had blond hair and striking green eyes, they reminded Elizabeth of the sea. The boy finally spoke;

"Hello.."

"Oh! Hi.. Who are you?"

"Oh.. I thought you knew"

"I don't believe I have ever met you befor-

"OUCH!"

Elizabeth was cut off mid-sentance by an unbearable pain in her collarbone. The necklace had dug so deep that it was touching the bone. A wave of tiredness suddenly hit Elizabeth and she began to drift out of conciousness.

"Hey........Hey....Wake up..."

"Hm..What.."

Elizabeth woke with a shudder going up her spine. Where was she? Had she fainted? Is the necklace gone? She glanced at her chest to see it was all bandaged up, and covered in blood.

"What happened?"

Elizabeth tried to sit up but she could feel two strong arms laying her back down again.

"Don't get up yet."

Elizabeths vision became distorted but cleared as she glanced around the room. The room she was in was white, and had medical equipment and jars with unfamiliar things in scattered everywhere. The boy who she saw before she fainted was sat at the end of what looked like a hospital bed, with blood splattering his clothes that looked very much like doctors clothes, except they were black. 

"Why am I here?"

"I'm afraid I can't explain that right now"

"Why not?"

"It might make you....emotionally unstable."

"Um..That isn't a valid reason."

"In your case it is."

"Please don't be vague and at least tell me the gist of what happened. I will not stop asking otherwise."

"Very well, You know that necklace you had on? It nearly killed you. We managed to salvage what we could get of the crystal out of you, but I'm afraid there is a sizeable piece still inside the center of your collarbone."

"Well get it out then!"

"We are trying to save you, not kill you."

"Who is 'we'"

"My team of medical scientists."

"Okay then, well what happens now?"

"I think its time to move you to another zone."

Elizabeth flinched as the boy injected a milky white substance into the veins in her wrist. She struggled to move but the substance rendered her helpless. 

"Why did yo-"

"Shhh... It will be alright"

She blacked out.
