Jacks POV:

"I want Nat." I cried. I just wanted the way she comforted me. I love Bucky Carol and Wanda also but Nat had a soothing calm feel to her and didn't show when she was panicked but the others did show how they were panicked . They don't think that they do but I can sense it.

"I heard someone wanted me." Nat said as she walked into the room, going straight to me and picking me up, rubbing my back and bouncing me up and down. She calmed me so fast it was unbelievable. I just rested my head on her shoulder and feel asleep.

I woke up in my room on Nat's chest. She was asleep and was holding me protectively so I would be safe. It was kinda like me and Shivers, my polar bear. I smiled slightly realizing I was feeling a lot better, my nose was really runny though. I sniffled some and cuddled into Nat staring at the wall. I looked at the numbers on the clock which read 4:50. I was asleep for that long, wow.  I listened for any movement around the compound but it was silent. I still had a small headache so I decided to just stay with Nat. She had a soft snore basically. It was nice to just see how adults also are vulnerable at night like I am. I moved slightly again and she woke up.

"Hey there nugget, You sleep alright?" She asks sitting up stretching slightly. I nod. "I'm sorry I woke you up Nat, please don't be mad." She looked down, "Oh you don't have to be scared or sorry about that its totally fine and you didn't mean to, or did you." She joked, of course I didn't know she was joking though. "No, n-no, I didn't mean to, Im sorry" She sat me on her lap, "Now you listen here no one in this compound would care it you woke them up or not. Everyone loves you and thinks your the best. And its true, you are the best. So don't apologize for any small things that we don't seem mad about. And if you don't know whether to apologize or not I'm 100% certain someone will help you." She told me. "Ok, Nat." "Well do you wanna watch a movie or something to pass the time?" I nodded enthusiastically. "Well what do you wanna do?" "Go on the balcony, please." I pointed to the glass wall. "Oh yeh, we forgot about the balcony."She laughed, picking me up and walking to the glass wall.

She opened it and the dark blue and purple of the sky made me gasp, "Is the sky always this pretty at night?" Nat looks down at me, "It sure is and when the sun rises and the sky becomes a red orange color." I look around, "Thats so cool." She sets me on a chair then runs back inside. I start to panic, 'Why'd she leave me?' 'Is she going to come back?' 'Is she gone forever?' Then she comes back out with a blanket, "Hey munchkin, you didn't really think I would just leave you, did you?" she asked me. "I didn't know where you went I'm sorry." She sighed, "Now remember our talk Jack." I nod, "Right and what did I say?" "Don't apologize for things that are small and you don't seem mad about." I tell her. "Good now don't apologize you are too perfect to feel like everything is your fault, which it isn't." I nod my head and she picks me up sitting back down so where I'm on her lap.

I watched as she pointed out different stars and how they made shapes call constellations, and how the sun is a star also its just closer to us then the small stars. She pointed out animals that are nocturnal, which means the sleep during the day and play with each other at night. I saw some bats, an owl, and a fox, it was so cool. Then after that I saw the sun start to rise. It was super pretty. She pointed out a small pathway that I remembered as the path we took to find the tree house. Then I saw a pretty animal with two smaller but identical looking animals, they were big and black. I pointed it out to Nat, "Whoa, that's a black bear, Jack. And that's a mommy black bear with its babies, its cubs. How cool is that huh?" "Are they nice?" "Well, some are, and some, like the mommy will probably try and protect its babies so it may growl at you." "So they just are protecting themselves when they're mean?" I ask. "Yes, That is exactly what they do. And how about we go get ourselves some breakfast?" She sat up with me in her hands and we walked inside.

This is a small one, I know but I am sick currently so another part should be out soon hopefully, I have zero ideas so if you have any fun things you would like to happen just tell me. I do have a general idea of what will happen at the end of this book and I am going to write a part 2 for this book but it may be a while so that's something to look forward to, maybe. I hope you all have a wonderful day. :)
