We all sit in the main room where they serve dinks and food, and we all watch our game from yesterday.
"Oh, no, no, no, no!" Nick says as we watch Evan fall over on the video.
"Guys, come on, now, don't get discouraged, okay? That's why we watch game tape, to get better." Coach states.
"I never should have came out of my basement. I mean, I was safe there. I have a chair with cup holders." Koob mumbles.
"It's like a masterclass in sucking." Nick smiles.
"Come on, guys. No judgment okay? Just positive, constructive feedback. Oh. Nice shot, other team." Coach Alex says as we all look at the tv.
"Snack bar is open kids. Why isn't anybody eating nachos, drinking hot cocoa?" Coach Bombay questions.
"We would, but we don't know where Winnie is." Sam says.
"She's supposed to be behind the counter. Two-dollar hot cocoa that costs two cents to make is what keeps the lights on in the place." Bombay mutters under his breath.
"There she is." Evan points to her.
"It looks like she's with cocoa Chad." Lauren says.
"Cocoa Chad?" Bombay asks.
"He delivers the cocoa mix." I state.
"They've been going out for two months and four and a half days. Or some other amount of time that I'm definitely not keeping track of." Nick tells.
"She does not look happy." Koob says.
"He's giving her a bunch of stuff back. I think they're breaking up." Maya says.
"This is so harsh." Logan states.
"How many yoga mats did she leave at his place?" Maya questions.
"How can anyone break up with her, she's amazing." Nick smiles.
"You know what would be amazing? If she could multitask. Be sad and make hot cocoa." Bombay walks off.
"Next games against the ducks. We're so dead." Evan tells us.
"If we had one sharpshooter, it would be a game changer." Nick says.
"I'm offended." I state.
"Look, I know she said 'no' before, but..." Nick says.
"You're not talking about Sofi, are you?" Evan asks.
"Her family is all about excellence and excellence is not something we offer." I say.
"No, we do not. But that just gave me an idea." Nick says. He tells us that Evan and him are going to try and convince Sofi to join.
"You think it'll work?" I ask Logan.
"Nope, but let's let them try." He chuckles.

{next day}

"Alright, here we go. Ice practice." Coach Alex says.
"It's just called practice." Evan tells.
"It's on the ice. Just, uh, you know being clear. I've got cones. I've got pucks. I've got all the bells and whistles including... an actual whistle, and introducing my coaches notebook. In the coaches notebook, I've written all kinds of great drills and exercises I got off the internet, and that's just a list of stuff I need at the drug store. So it's all right here." Coach shows us. "Today, we're gonna work on moving while we shoot. So line up here. We're gonna do a big circle and just slap it on in the goal." Coach tells us.
"Let's go!" Evan starts off.
"Yeah. Around the circle and then just shoot it on in there. Very good. He's on fire." Coach says.
Then I go, I do the exact same thing and I shoot it in, and it goes in at a really fast pace.
"Whoa. Nice." Nick high fives me.
Then everyone else does it, and Sam drops his stick and skates towards the wall.
"What's he doing." I ask Maya.
"I have absolutely no clue." She laughs.
We then all continue to keep on doing it until coach Bombay comes in and cleans the ice into a smooth surface.
Nick and Evan tells us that we are going to do a charm thingy at school to get Sofi to join.

{at school}

"Hello. Um, if you're interested, I could give you some of my hair tips that would easily double your volume." Logan says to Sofi as he puts his hands in his hair and moves it out of his face.
"Uh, um, that's okay. I'm good." Sofi walks away.
"All right. No worries." Logan smiles.
"That definitely didn't work." I say to Logan.
"You tell me." He laughs and we walk outside and wait for the others to finish their 'charming'.
We see Koob stand awkwardly in front of Sofi and then walk away. Then Evan came along and walked away with Sofi.
"How did it go?" I ask.
"Rubbish." Sam says.
"Not good." Maya states.
"We will get her to join at some point, anyway, bye guys." I say as I go into my dads car.
"Bye y/n." Logan says.
