Chapter: 1 - All My Fault

Marks POV

1 week after Jacks Disappearance.

12:00 P.M.

"Okay, thank you for your time sir." The officer said.

He exit the door and shut it behind him, followed by two other officers.

I sigh and lean back in my chair.

"This is all my fault..." I mumble out loud.

I look down at the papers infront of me. Some were missing posters, some were photos of Seán, and... the gift he gave me.

I looked at it for a few seconds, then slowly reached for it. I picked it up and brought it infront of me. I placed it on the table, setting my hand on the cover, then I open it. I flipped through the pages, but landed on a page with a photo of Seán and I. I looked at it, tears filling my eyes. I wiped them away. The picture was of me and Seán cuddled up together in our bed. He was asleep on my chest, while I was wide awake, holding him close, and taking the photo.

"Damnit...!" I shut the binder.

"I can't... I can't do this..."

I placed my arms on the table and placed my head on them. I couldn't hold it in anymore. I started crying into my sleeves.

"I-I'm so sorry..." I whimpered to myself. "I'm so sorry..."

"...this is all my fault..." I mumbled again, still sobbing.

(He basically cries there for like the next 45 minutes and then falls asleep after ...)

I slowly open up my eyes. I groan, lifting my head up from the table. I rub my eyes and sit all the way up.

I felt a small pain in my back and groaned again.

"Damnit..." I placed a hand on my back, standing up.

I start heading to my bedroom, checking the time on my phone.

3:47 A.M.

I sigh and continued to walk to my room. I enter, and just climbed into the bed. I didn't cover my self in blankets or anything, I just shut my eyes, almost immediately fell back asleep.

AN: yeah this chapter is really short, I know, but its kinda just to get it out there, plus I don't really know what else to write for Mark so bleh.
