In infront of me. There was a hole in the cement, with a wooden box filling it up almost to the edges. It was easily able to be pulled out, but there was a lock on it. I set it beside me, looking into the hole, which would about half a foot deep. Inside, the walls went past the enterance, about 8 inches past the enterance. Inside, were notebooks, pens, pencils, singular papers, and other things like that.

"What the..." I mumbled. I picked up one of the 7 notebooks, wiping the dust off of the words. The notebook was about 7 inches by 4 inches, made of leather, and the pages were naturally yellow. The 'title' read, '#1' in white ink. I opened it, flipping to the first page.

I read it out loud to myself, but made sure to stay quiet.

"January 15th. Its been a few months since they've brought me here. I've managed to be as well behaved as possible, and I made this notebook. I'm to sure why I'm here, but I do know, that I'm in a lot of danger. Being here has been a living hell... but I'm trying to behave. Who knows how long I'll be in here, and why I'm even here. I have no doubts that things will get worse the longer I'm here. I've thought of trying to escape, but I don't know enough about this place to even try. I only just managed to be able to get enough paper to make this notebook, and I plan on recording everything that happens here, in this, so if the next person they capture finds this, they can either be prepared, learn how to escape, or atleast know how to stay on these peoples good sides. If you are reading this, I've written secret codes that you'll have to figure out, which wont include this page, and I hope that they don't catch you with this. Throughout my time here, I will memorize code numbers, random bits of information you may need, or anything usful that I can get copy of, will either be in the same place you found this, or taped within this book. I wish you the best of luck, and hope that you'll make a succesful escape." I felt a small wave of releif wash over me.

Will I really have a chance to escape?

I smiled softly to myself, before I heard a recognizable sound.

Footsteps.

I, as quickly as I could, put the notebook back, placing the box in its place, moving the carpet back to its original spot, covering the hole, and I did it just in time. The door opened seconds after that, and I turned to see who it was. It was surprisingly Jake.

"Alright get up, your first day is starting." He said walking towards me.

I stood up, and he turned around, but made sure I followed.

My mind was only thinking about one thing.

Do I have a chance to escape?

Unedited chapter.
