It has been a couple of weeks now and I have been slowly getting better, taking each day one step at a time. I was trying to open up more and they have tried their best to make me feel at ease. I had started to train although I was weak and quite horrible at it. But every time I wanted to quit Alpha Jones encouraged me to continue. I was currently in the kitchen with Lillianna, Drew and Nikita eating some lunch. Drew was telling me a funny story when suddenly, we heard a scream coming from outside that sounded a lot like Brennan. We all looked at each other before bolting out to the backyard. Once we got there we saw Brennan and Quenton looking around them, puzzled, so we made our way to them.
"We heard you scream, what happened?" Lillianna asked them.
"One second Sebastian was in front of us, the next he completely disappeared." Brennan explained, still looking around.
"What?" We all said at the same time.
"He is not joking, we were talking and then all of a sudden Sebastian isn't there anymore." Quenton maintained.
"What are you talking about? I'm right here." A voice piped out of thin air.
I froze completely terrified.
"Please tell me you guys also heard that and I'm not going crazy." I pleaded looking around, the fear growing with each second.
"We heard it." Drew confirmed sounding utterly puzzled.
"Are you guys trying to prank me? Come on I'm right here." The voice spoke once again.
I screamed and backed away until I bumped into Nikita. I was shaking in fear, but oddly he made me feel slightly safer.
"Ok guys seriously stop it. You are really scaring Talia now." Nikita scolded as if this was some really bad joke.
"You guys are starting to scare me. Can you really not see me? Did you all go blind?" The voice I now recognized as Sebastian asked.
"I don't think that's how it works." Lillianna replied.
Something inside of me forced me to stay calm the moment I heard the fear in his voice. Through these past couple of weeks, I have felt a special connection with the seven of them. A connection I couldn't quite explain but I knew it went deeper than the pack bond. I felt calmer around Irene and Lillianna, I felt safer around Nikita, Drew and Quenton and I felt bolder around the twins as if we were feeding off each others energy. It was like I could feel all their emotions and they could feel mine, and they always wanted to do everything in their power to get rid of all the negative emotions. And right now I felt the same urge they do to get rid of the fear Sebastian was feeling, so I swallowed my fear and stepped forward, towards where I thought the voice was coming from.
"I know it sounds lame, but do you think you actually turned invisible?" I suggested moving my hands around, trying to feel him.
"Holy shit, that would be awesome. But how do I make myself visible again?" He asked, almost fascinated.
I just shrugged my shoulders completely lost.
"Just make yourself want to be seen again. Visualise yourself and how everyone sees you and think about being visible to everyone." Quenton suggested.
We waited a couple of minutes in silence when suddenly Sebastian reappeared out of nowhere.
"Ok, how the hell is that possible?" Drew questioned baffled.
"I don't know but that was awesome." Brennan replied.
He made his way towards me, when suddenly, before he could reach me, I felt a force pushing me. I was thrown a few feet back from the impact and found myself on my back.
