「Sunrise」|| Glitter Glue

As an assistant in the daycare, your job was to take care of the kids along with Sunrise.
The kids were usually too much of a responsibility for one individual, especially a robot.
They were hiring for assistants and you gladly took the job.
The Mega Pizzaplex was one of your favorite places to go to as a child, so it was one of your dream jobs to work there.
You were currently running to the daycare, hurriedly, as you were already late for the first day. You forgot about your alarm :(

"H-hey! I'm so sorry I'm late!"

You had repeatedly apologized to your boss. "My alarm didn't work for some reason, and the bus was taking long to get here.." You rambled on a bit, before your boss had put a hand on your shoulder.
"Kid, don't worry about it. It's your first day."
He chuckled.
"Go on and punch in at the daycare, your partner's waiting for you."
You immediately nod, scurrying towards the Daycare. You wondered for a moment if the daycare attendant was a person or an animatronic just like 90% of the other workers here.

"Hey! Hey, I'm here, sorry about that!"

You called out to whoever was behind the desk.
"No problemo!"
The animatronic had looked up at you with a wide smile, as they stood up and energetically cartwheeled over to you.

"New friend? New assistant? Nice to meet'cha, I'm Sunrise!"
He cackled a bit, holding his hand out.
"I'm (Y/N)! Nice to meet you as well."
His upbeat personally seemed to melt your nervousness away, although you'd both just met.
You happily took his hand and shook it.
"Do I need to know anything before starting? Like rules and such."
You turned away to take in the colorful environment.

"I'm pretty good at remembering the rules."
Sunrise blinked for a moment, before chuckling.
"No rules, just keep the lights on!"
His tall, lanky figure had wandered away to go grab some glitter glue and paper.
You wondered what he meant by that, but didn't linger on the subject for long.

"Wanna do some arts and crafts with the kids?? We have glitter glue!"
He called out as he sat near a small plastic table, the children happily coming over and joining in on the arts and crafts.

"Sure, sounds fun!"

Thank god that's what the whole point of your job was. Just have fun and watch over the children.
You grabbed some (F/C) glitter glue, and some gold glitter shaker that was nearby. It was stuck, and you accidentally forced the glue out by squeezing it too hard.

Thankfully, it didn't get on your paper.
you decided to draw your new co-worker with the glitter glue. He looked interesting to you, and the jester-like outfit he wore was pretty cute in your opinion.
"Sunrise, look! Its you." You held up your glitter art of your new friend. "Do you like it?"
You smiled childishly, as he looked at the drawing.
His face went serious for a moment, before he beamed.
"It looks AMAZING! Wow, you're such an artist! Do you mind if i hang it up?"
You blushed slightly.

"I-I don't mind at all, it's for you anyway!"
He looked straight at you for a moment. "Heyhey, stay still for a sec!"
He suggested, reaching over the small table and wiping some glitter glue off your cheek.
At this moment, your face was pretty red. "Thanks, Sunny!" You beamed.

"S-Sunny?"

You could've sworn he had blushed too.
"Yeah, it's a cute nickname for you!"

"I like it, thanks for that! I gotta give you a nickname too!" He paused for a moment, scratching his cheek.
"What about (N/N)? It has a ring to it! I absolutely love it!"
He exclaimed.
"Aw, that's perfect! Thanks!"
