Looking for a job

You got up early in the morning and decided that you would be looking for a job today. You were so happy and excited to finally own a place of your own but you had to work to stay in for as long as you could.
You had breakfast and headed out, grabbing your bag as you did so. But before leaving your eyes landed on a little envelope, surprised you opened it and read "hello, this is Mr. Hellen. I would like to inform you that it is possible for you to stay  3 months rent free. I heard about you and i see you as my own daughter so i can not take any more money from you. Please, dont consider this."
"Wow, now that was something, this man was really sweet from the start and he thinks of me as his daughter! What did i do to deserve kind and amazing people?"
You thought to yourself as you closed and placed the envelope over the table.

Y/N POV:
My life was really going well right now. I just had to find a job.
I haven't really thought of a specific job, i just really needed money and something to do during the day, i had no friends and no family. I had met this really handsome guy that is now my neighbor but I'm not sure if i should consider him my friend. After all we just met, and i dont even know him.
After some time i decided to come back home, i was upset for not finding a job anywhere. As i was walking towards the building i came across this coffee shop I've seen before but it wasn't open when i got out.. this is maybe my chance to get a job now! I went inside and asked the employees if i could talk to the manager for a job.
Several minutes passed and i finally got to meet her, she was lovely and she agreed to hire me as a waitress.
"I can start now if you'd like!" I exclaimed to my manager.
"Oh no, please. You can start from tomorrow, you look really tired and i think it's preferable for you to rest." She replied.
How nice, i thought, nodding to her response.
"I'm Kayla" she added, leading out her hand.
"And I'm y/n.." you said as you shook each other's hand.
"Alright y/n, see you tomorrow at 8 o'clock, and please try not to be late." Kayla said, smiling as she waved.
I nodded with a smile and walked to my apartment.

As i got inside, i rested on the couch and realized i was hungry and i needed to make something to eat. So i got up and gathered the ingredients.
I was always so messy when i made something. I was thinking pizza, pizza is one my favorite foods and it made me full.
As i started mixing the flour with water, i heard a loud knock on my door.
"Hm..i wonder who it is.." i said to myself as i walked towards the front door.
You didn't wanna open the door unless you knew who it was, you didn't trust anyone and, you didn't have any relatives here which made you worry.
"Who is it?" I said leaning my ears to the door.
"Hey..its Tengen." He replied.
The voice was familiar but you still couldn't figure out who it was.
"Tengen? I'm sorry but you have to leave. I don't know anyone with that name." You said in an anxious tone.
"Oh, my bad. I forgot to introduce myself yesterday. I'm your neighbor." He replied.
Now that it made sense you opened the door and looked up to see the tall man standing at your door.
"I'm sorry, i didn't recognize you by your name. P- please come in." You said, feeling embarrassed.

BACK TO NORMAL POV:
You both went inside and you asked Tengen to sit on the couch. The man noticed you were making something.
He made his way to the living room, took his coat off and sat there patiently waiting for you.
"I'm sorry if the place doesn't look so neat..i was making pizza, would you like some?" You asked, smiling anxiously.
"Oh no, no worries. It sure looks like you're a great cook, I'd love some." He replied, smiling back.
"Ah, i wish. I'm not so great if I'm being honest." You replied, chuckling nervously.
"Hahaha" he started laughing.
You looked confused for a second and then laughed along.
"Never thought id have such a funny neighbor, not to mention that you look very pretty in that apron." He said still laughing.
His words made you blush and you quickly turned where he couldn't see your face. You didn't wanna embarrass yourself in the first meeting.
"Oh! Its so sweet of you. Thank you for the compliment haha." You said, your face red like a tomato.
"Please, it was nothing. Now, now. Mind telling me your name?" He said looking towards you.
You calmed yourself down and turned to him looking him in the eyes.
"Well..I'm y/n, y/n, l/n." You confidently said.
He stared at you for 5 seconds straight then snapped back.
"That, that is such a beautiful name. I've never heard of that one before" he said with a gentle voice.
You were a blushing mess but you tried to hide it away by quickly turning back, again.
"Is that so?" "Well I'm really glad you seem to like it." You then replied.
You two were quite for a moment when the silence broke.
"Ehm, you can watch TV while i finish preparing the pizza, it- it wont take long. Please, make yourself home." You said turning to the oven to set it up.
Tengen didn't say a word but only nodded, took the remote and scrolled down through the channels.
The kitchen was really messy but you had finally made it and now the pizza was cooking. You looked at yourself and the apron was pretty dirty, your hair had a little bit of flour and your face too. You excused yourself to Tengen and told him that you would be changing the mess you were in.
He stared at you as you walked towards your room. You tried to look for a dress you liked to wear, it was comfortable and your favorite at the same time. You didn't wanna wear something super casual when you had a guest at home. You looked around for it when your eyes spotted it at the top of your closet.
The closet was really high and you couldn't make it there so you looked around your room and grabbed a chair to stand over it. The chair wasn't very long, it didn't help that much. Though you still tried reaching for it by getting on top of your toes, when you accidentally slipped and fell on the ground. That fall caused a really loud sound and you heard the man coming as he called out for you.
"Hey! Are you okay?" "I heard you fall." He said coming towards the door.
You panicked as you knew you were in really short shorts and your bra only which made you exposed.
"Yes, yes! I'm totally fin-" you replied when suddenly the man entered the room. Eyeing you from head to toe.
He was almost speechless and then..
"I'm so sor-" he said when you cut him off.
"Please get out!" "I'm barely naked!" You said to him trying to get him out with those words.
But he didn't care as he saw a part of your arm bleeding he rushed to help you get up on your bed. You were so embarrassed and your face was all red as you watched him help you. With your red face exposed to him he couldn't help but giggle as he sat you down on the bed.
"Why would you??" "I told you i was barely naked!" You said glaring at him.
The man pulled you closer and whispered in your ears.
"Oh..is that supposed to keep me away from helping you?" He said in a very deep voice.
You were shocked by his words and you just thought about it for a straight minute. When you finally snapped back. You looked around to find bandages over your arm and you were sitting next to him in the living room. The pizza was ready and he was waiting for you to snap back. You weren't in your bra anymore, you were in one of your oversized shirts.
"What the hell?" "Why am i in my shirt? I don't remember wearing this!" You said loudly looking at him who stood by you to the side.
"What? Did you prefer staying on your bra and shorts?" "Could of told me.." he replied with a smirk on his face.
You looked at him in shock and then attacked him.
"What the freak?" "No you idiot! Of course not. What the hell are you doing in my house anyway? Are you stalking me? What do you want from me?!" You said throwing pillows at his face.
He grabbed you by your wrists and tried to calm you down then replied back.
"Ahaha, calm down" "did you loose memory or something? Im your neighbor. And im not stalking you. If you're mad because i saw you naked, then i didn't. I just enjoy seeing you get mad" he said laughing his butt off.
You looked at him with an annoyed face and then looked away.
"You really are an idiot." You replied back.
"Now, are we gonna eat that pizza? Its turning cold and its getting late i probably should be going after this." He said cutting two slices of pizza. One for you and one for him.
You nodded, still embarrassed and you both started eating and chatting at the same time.

~1h30min have passed~

"That was great" he said.
"It was.." You replied back.
"Well then y/n, i better be off now. I dont want to be the cause to why you were late to your work tomorrow." He said winking at you as he worn his coat.
"Thank you for visiting me! It was nice, please come again!" You said with a smile on your face.
"I will." He said smiling back.

As he left your apartment. You could feel your heart being warm and full with joy. And now your thoughts were full of him. His smile. His voice. Everything about him was special. You couldn't help but develop a small feeling for him.

Time passed as you cleaned up the mess. You were so tired that you slept on the couch with your apron on.
