Its like im living a dream..
Why would he invite me to dinner? Me?
Was this even possible? I never imagined a life this perfect. I have my own place, a job and friends..
I really want to confess but he'll surely reject me. I'm not as perfect as him.
But he invited me, and i had to show him how gorgeous i actually was.

I couldn't wear something so casual. I needed to go shopping, i had my savings..but..they weren't enough.
I couldn't afford to give up my grocery money for the month. I was thinking of a solution when someone knocked on my door.
Oh no, who could it be? Was it Tengen? It wasn't 7pm yet...

You stood up and went to open the door.
"Who is it?"
"Yo, it's Stacy!"
"Stacy?" You spoke as you opened the door.
"Hey there y/n!"
"Hi, whats up?"
"Manager Kayla gave me this pay check and asked me to hand it over to you. Here!"
She gave you an envelope signed by Kayla with a smile on her face.
"Wait seriously? I totally forgot about my pay check. Ohh! This is really gonna help me."
"Do you need anything else?" "Beside the check, i wanted to pass by and check on you" she said, smiling.
"So sweet of you! But how did you know i lived here?" You said confused.
"Well, Tengen-sama came by and i asked him for your location."
"Aww, well thanks! It was perfect timing."
"You seem really happy and excited....what't up?" She asked.
"Oh, Stacy! Tengen asked me out on a date!"
"A date?!?!"
"Well its not specifically a date, but dinner...together."
"That's amazing! You're so lucky!" She said with excitement.
"Welp i better get going. Wanna join me? I'm going shopping."
"Pfft! Definitely girl! Lets get you ready!"

You both went inside, took your bags and the money and went out for shopping.

~10mins later~

"Y/n, this is like the best shop in here. And...it's prices are absolutely affordable!"
"Oh my god, you're the best."
"Eee!!"
"Lets look for a dress and some heels, thats what I'll be needing."
"Any particular design ya looking for?"
"Meh, anything is fine."
Stacy and you walked towards the dresses out there and picked the perfect ones.
"This is awesome! You should try this one too!"
"Okay, okay. Hold this for me while i try these." You said trying to hurry up.
Some time went by and you got out with a perfect black sparkly dress. It was long and it had a cut in one of the legs.
"O.m.g girl." "He sure is falling for you when he sees you in that dress. You look absolutely stunning!"
You blushed at her words and turned around to show its full 360 angle.
"So what do you think? Do you like it?" She said.
"Are you kidding? I love it!" You replied looking yourself up in a mirror near by.
"Then what are you waiting for? Lets go purchase it!" She said pulling you.
You both went next to the cashier to pay the dress when you spotted very basic but cute, tall, and black heels.
"Oh, Stacy! Look at those heels aren't they beautiful?" You pointed towards the high heels.
"Yeaah! Totally! They're gonna match you perfectly with this dress!" She said as she went towards them to grab them.
"Come on girl, after this were going to get you to the hair salon!"
"But-" you spoke before being cut off.
"No buts, its gonna be quick and please, its on me." She said pointing a finger at your lips.
"But i dont know any hairdresser here in town!"
"That's on me too, i know just the one for you."
"Oh, Stacy. You're literally the best!" You hugged her.

Currently 6:25pm

You both were back to your apartment at that time.
You hurried up to get dressed up and ready for your so called "date".

"Come on! You dont got much time!"
"What kind of make up am i going to put? I have no idea." You said with a lost look on your face.
"Ummm...in my opinion just make it look simple. Mascara, eyeliner, some blush, simple contouring and a brown kinda beige lip gloss. And you're good to go."
"Life saver!" You said getting out all the products you needed.

~time skipped~

Currently 6:55pm

You were ready and you got out of your room to show your friend your new "makeover".
"Woah! Its like a whole different person. You look ridiculously gorgeous girl!" She said with her mouth wide open with amazement.
"You think so?" You smiled.
"Wha- i know so!" She replied eyeing you up and down.
"Aren't you the sweetest?!"
You never thought Stacy would be the typa nice and supportive friend.
"Nahh, just helping a girl out." She winked at you.
"I owe you a favor." You replied.
"Please, you really dont need t-"
"Shh, miss girl. When I'm back, ill talk to you k? Also, please ask me anything I'll be glad to help."
"Fine, talk to you later ;)" she said as she left your apartment.

It was exactly 6:59pm when you heard a knock on your door.
