Future and Freedom | Chapter 2

Ralsei woke up with arms firmly around his body, but he didn't move or get up as he didn't want to disturb Kris. He lead there until Kris would let go or woke up and 10 minutes later Kris started to wake up.

Ralsei: You up?

Kris: Mhm...

Ralsei: Good, did you sleep well?

Kris: Mhm... nice dream...

Ralsei: What was it about?

Kris: Me... you... no more threats... married... family...

Ralsei: Oh... well that sounds nice... married? Family? Would you like that? Not now obviously, but somewhen.

Kris: Mhm...

Ralsei: Oh... So would I... do you want to get up now?

Kris: No...

Ralsei: Should I get up now?

Kris: No...

Ralsei: Do you want to hug me more?

Kris: Mhm...

Ralsei: Oh, ok, well just remove your arms if you want to get up, or if you want me to get up.

Kris: Never...

Ralsei: Going to be here for a long time then... Oh...

Ralsei just went silent and Kris pulled him closer continuing to cuddle him, Ralsei just thought to himself while Kris just rested their face in Ralsei's soft white fur. And after what had seemed to be forever, Kris finally removed their arms allowing Ralsei to get up.

Ralsei: Satisfied?

Kris: Mhm...

Ralsei: Good, well i'm always here if you want more, and don't forget to put your armour on, breakfast will be done shortly.

Kris: Mhm...

Ralsei got out of bed and got dressed into his robes and went downstairs allowing Kris to get up. Kris sat up and felt a beating SOUL inside of them, they wanted to rip it out so badly but stopped themselves after realising that help was coming. They stood up and put their armour on, Kris then headed downstairs where Ralsei was making breakfast for them.

Kris got downstairs and found themselves in an endless hallway with many doors either side of them. And when Kris turned around the stairs they walked down were gone and there was only a door there. Kris opened it and put their head in, they saw that it was raining and everyone was dressed in black, they went in and looked at what everyone was doing.

Alvin: Here we are today to mark the passing of Kris Dreemurr, beloved son, brother, and best friend.

Kris tried to get their attention but everyone acted like they were invisible, Kris started to freak out and went back into the door they came from. They went to the door opposite to the door they went in and put their head in. And they then saw the world covered in darkness, Kris went further in looking around them.

Then they bumped into something, and when they looked up it was a statue of Ralsei and he looked like he had a small smile on his face with tears coming from his face. Kris touched it and felt the hard stone surface, Kris then started to cry and thought how this wasn't real. They left the room while crying and got back to the long hallway.

Kris started to sadily walk down while wiping their tears away and insisting this wasn't real. They walked and walked, but it felt like they were going nowhere and they stopped and hesitantly opened a door. They went in and found themselves in the dark world, but they appeared to be back in time as it just showed Kris and Susie meeting Ralsei for the first time.
