Part 10

Daniel's POV

I woke up and saw that it was 10am. I got dressed then sat on my bed and thought about nothing. Shortly after I changed into my swim trunks and went to the pool. I jumped in started swimming around. Then I heard someone calling me, I looked at me phone but it was stupid spam. I hung up then kept swimming.

An hour later

I got out then went back up to my room to change. When I walked in, I saw the poster she made for my 15th birthday for me. It was a bunch of pics from cute moments we had, like when we went out for ice cream after releasing what am I. Or when I tickled her cause she gave me attitide. I walked over and picked it up and smiled. She's right, we haven't been getting along lately ..we should just go back to how we were, when we were making memories like this. I got changed and texted her...

💖Dani💖: hey, where are you?
Babygirl: um, out with nick, why?
💖Dani💖: oh, um.. I was just gonna see if you wanted to go downtown today ..but if your busy then?
Babygirl: sure Daniel! Nick gotta family birthday to get too anyways ..I'll have him drop me off
💖Dani💖: okay, meet you at the house
Babygirl: sure thing! Cya

I got ready to go downtown and sat on my bed, just looking at the memory board we made. I got up to go put it back when a picture fell out. "No Daniel, you cant get mad at this" I said to myself.. I picked up the picture and looked at it "what the" I was shocked..

"You two were drunk on wine that night" I turned around and saw Corbyn standing at the door "what ..what do you mean" he took the picture then sat on the bed "Corbyn, when did this happen" "um, last summer" "what" "we all went out and you two got drunk"

Flashback

It was mid July, soft sun, warm weather...

Corbyns pov

Me, the guys and emelia were all just walking down the streets of LA. It was about the sun setting, emelia saw a nice restaurant "hey, you guys wanna go get some dinner" she said "sure!" Daniel said.. Although he seemed much more peppier and happy. We walked into the place and got a table. Shortly after the waiter came and took our orders "emelia what you having" "um, I think I'll have steak and wine" "yum" "oh me too" Daniel said .."okay" said our waiter. I found it very weird that Daniel was getting the same meal as her but didnt really think much of it. We all got the same order then talked till our food came. Once it came, I had two glasses of wine and finishes my steak, Zach and jack had one, Jonas had 2 and emelia and Daniel....well they drank the rest of the bottle. Luckily our house wasnt that far of a walk. Once we were all done, we walked back home. The sun and just set, still barely lighting the sky, just enough to lead us home. Once we got home, me, Zach, jack and Jonas all chilled and watched a movie. We thought Daniel and emelia would do the same thing ...up in Daniels room! We were naive to think that's what they were only doing. We all rushed upstairs and and quietly opened the door, just in case so it dont look weird. Once we opened the door, we saw Daniel with his arms slightly at her waist and looking at her like she's the last thing he has. Then right as they were about to kiss .....Zach fell through the door, knocking us all down with him. They quickly looked at us and stopped "sorry guys" we all left and they continued to watch the movie. Once we got back downstairs, a pic that Jonas posted got 15k likes ...we opened the pic and he took a pic of them in the position before Zach made us fall.

Flashback over

"So you see Daniel, you two almost had your first kiss right then and there ..luckily Zach stopped it or else who knows how you two would be today. With all this fighting, you probably would've broken up" he looked like he was hurt "really? I cant believe you almost kissed ..but wait ..then why was it hiding" I sighed "I hid it hoping you wouldn't find it, then when the time came, I would show you" "so you meant to keep it hidden till then ...I didnt know this happened" I chuckled "Daniel, you dont know a lot of things, as your best friend who strongly pays attention to you two ..you've had a lot more moments then you think" "we have? Wow" "anyways, have fun!" I got up and left.

Daniels pov

Once Corbyn left, I was left in shook. I cant believe this happened, and no one said anything. Shortly after emelia showed up and came up to my room ...crying. I quickly rushed to her and hugged her tight "what happened" "um ..nick ..he ..uh .." she bursted into more tears "dont tell me he cheated" "no! Worst" "what did he do" "he ..he ..he" I just pulled her closer and sat on the bed "he ..said he not ready for a real relationship rn" she cried harder and I felt sorry "aww" I just hugged her and let her cry. "Wait, didnt he ask you to be his girlfriend?" "yeah" "then how he not ready for a real relationship" "Idk ..he said that" she held on tighter and I thought she would start losing air, so I loosened my grip. We stayed like that for a few more minutes then she looked at me "do you, still wanna go downtown" .."do you?" "not really, im a mess to go" I smiled. She is not a mess, she is perfectly beautiful and it kills me she cant see it. I just softly kissed her head then continued hugging her "Daniel, wanna just watch a movie?" "sure ..you pick" "okay" she crawled up on the bed and picked out the movie "now, im gonna go take a shower, dont play it yet" "okay" she grabbed her clothes, hair brush and hair dryer thing then went to the bathroom. I just sat there on my phone, waiting for her to get done. I looked at the movie she picked, and she picked 'after' ..I remember this movie, kinda. I waited about 15 maybe 20 min then she walked into the room, wearing sweatpants and a t-shirt. I smiled then she came and sat on the bed while I layed there. She got popcorn and chocolate then played the movie.

Emelias pov

Once I played the movie, I just sat there and ate chocolate, Daniel was eating my popcorn "hey! Give it back" I tried to reach for it but he moved it away "Daniel!" I crawled closer but he still moved it back. Then he started giggling "Daniel c'mon ..give it back" "no!" he playfully through s piece at me while smiling then continued eating it "fine, I didnt want any anyways" I continued to watch the movie again. It was about 45 minutes into the movie when Daniel turned off the light "hey ..why" "sorry, its too bright in here for a light during a movie" I growled then watched it more "you cant be just friends" I smiled cause I really want tessa and hardin yo be together ..even though they do.

Daniel pov

Once I turned off the light, she looked so cute, just the way her face glowed with the light from the movie "you can never be just friends" I thought for a moment ..then it all made sense. I slowly leaned forward and she looked back at me. I then remembered that day in the pool, and when we were drunk on wine ..I gently put a piece of hair behind her ear and she smiled. Soon after we both got caught staring into each others eyes. I could see all the pain in her eyes disappear.

Emelias pov

Shortly after the movie said that, Daniel started to reach towards me, I looked back to see why and he gently put a piece of hair behind my ear. What is happening. I smiled and felt like nothing else mattered, I dont know heats going on. Soon after, we got caught staring in each others eyes. I felt relieved, all my pain went away, all I felt was safe and happy ..I haven't had that with nick. Why do i feel it with Daniel. Then we started slowly leaning in and closing our eyes ..until his lips landed on mine.
