As I walked through the door I saw Mateo sitting in the same spot he was 5 hours ago. "Whose you're boyfriend" he teased in an unbothered way. "He is NOT my boyfriend.. we just so happened to bump into each other that's all." Mateo rolled his eyes as if he could care less. I just looked at him and went up to my room. I can't believe this kid.

Dolores and Camilo both arrived back home before dinner began. "You're here later than usual what was the hold up," Pepa said in a curious tone.

"Nothing mà it-"

"Camilo was talking to a girl" Dolores glanced at him with a grin "she was pretty too"

"DOLORES!!" He whined. "What? You don't think she's pretty?!"

"We'll yea but-"

"Really? What's her name" pepa asked intrigued. Camilo avoided all forms of eye contact. "...you didn't her ask did you."

"We'll she kinda.. left before I could." She sighed. "Did you at least invite her to Antonio's  gift ceremony??" Camilo started slowly backing up to the entrance, and awkward smile plastered across his face. "I'll be back"
"This kids gonna be the death of me I swear." Both pepa and Dolores eased to the kitchen to help out Julieta while Camilo scurried to y/n's house.

Camilo POV

I knocked on the door i believe was her house but then this kid with a blank face opened the door. "Oh I'm sorry I think I or the wrong house"

"Oh you're y/n's boyfriend."

So that's her name.. wait BOYFRIEND??

I chocked a little at the thought but why. "Did you need something orrr?" I was so lost in my thought I forgot what I was here for. Oh right. "I just wanted to invite you and your family to come to my little brothers gift ceremony"
"Gift ceremony?"
"That's..what I said.. um well it's in 3 days so you guys should come" I started to walk away back to my house. So she has a brother. Interesting.

"You really had your hopes up thinking she'd answer huh?"

"AAA-aaah" my voice cracked- "DOLORES!"
"Don't scream you know it hurts my ears" she said while cupping her ears. "Sorry but seriously bro stop. Scaring. Me" mirabel walked into the scene with a confused look
"I thought I heard a chicken die in here" she said genuinely. I rolled my eyes at her "YOURE funny." I walk into the kitchen to find that theres not enough food for me to have seconds. I sobbed dramatically and ate my food, purposely chewing aggressively just to get back at Dolores. "Camilo ya callate y duermete pinche Chamaco travieso"my mom scolded. When I finished eating I washed my plate and headed up to my room.

I saw that same boy from yesterday walk up to my house before I fell asleep but I decided to mind my business... who am I kidding I had to know. "Hey mateo did anyone come to our door yesterday?"
"Yeah just your boyfriend"

"He's not my" I took a deep breath to calm down, "he's not my boyfriend but what did he say"

"I don't know something about his brothers gift ceremony in 3 days and to bring the family"
