I woke up in an oddly familiar room. Camilos? Wait I didn't go home? I sat up on the bed while rubbing my eyes. Where is he. I stood up.

I didn't know he was asleep on the floor.

"Uh- I'll go get you something to eat from Julieta just um- stay there please." I opened the door and mirabel fell on me.

"Oh.. good morning to you too?"

"Y/n? What are you doing here? Wait never mind that I got to go!"

"Oh umm ok?" I turn to Camilo. "What's her deal?"

"DONT know DONT care" he yawned. "Hey there's a festival today in the town do you want to go later!"

"I'd love to but I should probably go get breakfast at my house first."

"No worries you can eat with us."

"Are you sure? No offense but I don't think your grandma likes me."

"I'm sure she's fine no worries." I gave him a look before agreeing.

Let's hope he's not lying. I went to restroom to tidy up a bit before heading outside along with Camilo. I got my food and sat down but.. he was gone?

Then I saw Mirabel frantically going over to Dolores who had a confused look on her face. I was just standing there watching this unfold with a plate in my hands. I looked over to a door and... another Dolores??? What the fuck are in these arepas?

"Camilo! Stop pretending you're Dolores just so you can have seconds."

Yea that makes more sense.

"Worth a shot." Camilo transformed back and got slapped by casita making me laugh a little bit.

Luisa brought in a table and I thanked her.

"Everyone to the table let's go let's go... what is she doing here?"

I made eye contact with Alma and froze.

"She's gonna eat with us today... is that ok?" Camilo asked as I had a worried look on my face. She gave me a look before agreeing making me sigh or relief before smiling at her. "Thank you señora"

"Yea. Anyways I talked to the Guzman about Mariano's proposal to Isabella." This rude bitch- I went to go sit at the table between Agustin and Camilo who had a whole pile of arepas on his plate.

I was tuning abuela out while eating until a flower landed on my face making me flinch. Camilo then spat out some flowers making me extra confused.

"Together everyone."

"La familia madrigal" everyone repeated it and I stood there confused as everyone got up to go do their chores.

"Guess it's just you and me.. again." I turned to look at him "don't you have chores to do"

"Nah. There's a new babysitter in town so I'm free of chores so.. what do you say? Festival??"

"Sure but let me change I to something more suitable besides your clothes"

"Keep them.. they look good on you."

"Really? Thanks umm... meet you in 20?"

"Sounds good!"

"Great! Thanks for the food." I waved him goodbye and ran home.

When I went home my parents were in the living room asleep so I tiptoed up stairs. I sighed of relief.

"Where were you?"

"AHH!.. MATEO YOU FUCK SHIT!... none of your business"

"You were with that madrigal boy weren't you" he smirked at me.

"No? Yes? Why do you care???"

"Oh?" He laughed pushing me out the way "I don't."

...he's so annoying. I went to my room and got changed then met up with Camilo.

"Ready to go hermosa?"

"Yea we should eat first though. On me of course, and don't even fight me on it." Before I let him answer I went over to the first food stand I saw and ordered us some esquite (corn in a cup.. it's delicious) I was waiting for it to be ready when I noticed marisol go up to Camilo.

I payed the guy and grabbed our food while walking over too the two.

I paused

They were... kissing.
