"Oil and Water" Vi X Caitlyn

(Pt 3) Oil and Water

Vi's Pov:
I woke up to someone holding my face with their hands. I freaked out and tried to quickly sit up. "Hey hey hey, it's alright Violet it's just me.". Caitlyn softly smiled at me and she caressed my cheeks with her thumbs. I held onto one of her hands and closed my eyes. After a couple minutes of just sitting there like that Caitlyn helped me up. We looked at Tex and Rusty. "A-Are they..dead, Vi?" I walked over to Rusty and Tex and checked them both for a pulse. "Nope. They both are just knocked out" Obviously they were dead, but I couldn't tell her that. Caitlyn sighed of relief. "Oh thank goodness, because if they were dead I-". I hugged Caitlyn really tightly. Caitlyn limply hugged me back. "Why are you hugging me back so weakly?". "I don't wanna hurt you Vi".

Third person Pov:
Vi looks into Caitlyn's eyes and Caitlyn does the same. They stand there, staring into each others eyes.

Caitlyn Pov:
Vi slowly moves closer to my face. I can feel my face start to heat up. I knew my face had to be super red. "Are you okay Cupcake? You're face looks a little red", Vi said smirking. "What? No, ummm, are you hot? It's kinda hot down here. I'm super hot." Vi closely looked at my lips. I started to panic. "Wow I think I'm sweating. It's definitely hot down here.". "Yeah I guess I'm hot, but not as hot as you.". I laughed nervously after Vi said that. Vi put her finger on my lips. At this point I was sure I was going to explode. I was so flustered I couldn't take it anymore. Vi wiped something off my lips, smiled, and stepped back. "There you go Cupcake, you had something on your lips.". "I-". I just stood there, so confused. "What?", Vi said, looking at me confused. "Nothing Vi." I said flatly while walking away. "Where are you going?" I just shrugged and Vi followed me.

Vi's Pov:
Caitlyn helped me into her window, then she put my arm around her shoulder to help me. We started walking to her bed until someone busted open her room door. We both stood there in complete shock while someone was pointing a gun at us.

~Time skip~

Vi's Pov:
I was laying down on Caitlyn's bed after she left. She still wasn't back so I just starting thinking to myself. "Should I of kissed her back in the alley? No, she just needs me for her case, she doesn't care about me like that. Or, does she?". Caitlyn came back and told me that we would present our case later. Caitlyn sat down on her bed and I sat up next to her. It's now or never Violet, I thought to myself. I looked at Caitlyn and she looked at. I looked at the floor and slowly put my hand on hers. "Um, you're eyes look really beautiful Caitlyn.". "Thank you Violet.". Caitlyn put her hand on my cheek and turned my head to make me look at her. "You have very pretty eyes as well Vi.". I softly smiled and looked at her lips.

Caitlyn's Pov:
I seen Vi was looking at my lips. I was gonna mess with her just like how she messed with me in the alley. I smirked and moved closer to Vi's face. I looked at her, then her lips. Vi went to kiss me, but I put my finger on her lips to stop her. "You have something on your lips Vi.", I said pretending to wipe something off of her face. Vi quickly moved away "Thank you, Cupcake.". Vi said looking at the ground. "What?", I said looking at her trying not to snicker.  I put my hand on her cheek and softly kissed her. Vi kissed back and held my face with her hands. We both pulled away and stared at each other. We both quickly started passionately kissing each other.

Vi's Pov:
I put my hands around Caitlyn's waist and she put her hands on my upper back. She slowly slid her hands down my back. I flinched and jumped back. "Ah!". "I'm so so sorry Vi! I forgot about the stab wound on your back. Are you okay?". Caitlyn looked at me very concerned. "It's fine Cupcake, you didn't mean to. Now, where were we?", I said smirking. Caitlyn smiled and sat on my lap. I put my hands on her waist while she slipped her hands into my shirt and onto my stomach

~Time skip~

Vi's Pov:
I go outside and start to walk away. It's pouring rain, but I don't really care. I hear Caitlyn running after me. "Vi, wait! Wait! Where are you going?". "I don't know, back where I came from? Seems like that's what everyone up here wants.". "I can fix this." I snap and turn around. "You can't!" Caitlyn flinched. "This is how things are, how they've always been! I was..so stupid to think it could change. Caitlyn stepped closer. "There must be something else we can do, some other way. We'll make a new plan. We have to try.". "We tried, okay? It wasn't enough. Topside and bottom, oil and water. That's all there is.". At this point Caitlyn looked like she was about to cry. I couldn't keep looking at her while I was making her sad. I just stared at the ground. "What about us?" I looked up from ground, but I didn't look at her. "Oil and water. Wasn't meant to be.".

Caitlyn's Pov:
Tears started to roll down my face, but the rain disguised them. I stared at Vi. I could fell myself about to break down and start crying. "You're just saying that...". "Do yourself a favor, Cupcake. Go back to that big, shiny house of yours and just..forget me, okay?". Vi started to walk away and she put on her hood. "Vi! Vi please come back! You don't have to do this! Please, Vi.." I slowly started to collapse onto my knees. "Please...for me.."

Annnnnnnd that's part three. Sorry for any spelling errors, I try my best. Part three was not supposed to be this long. Actually, part three was supposed to end before they even kissed, but I made it longer. There will be a part four, but I have to come up with an idea for it. Because school is starting back up it'll probably take a little longer for other parts, but I'll still make them happen! If you have any suggestions on what should happen in part four please let me know! I'm kinda stumped here:/
