One week later...
Y/N was in her deep slumber when a sudden noise woke her up and she opened her eyes. She looked to her side to see what happened but instead, her heart stopped beating for a second.
There was Nayeon, crouched down as she picked up the books which had fallen from the desk. The captivating thing was her mild make-up and long hair cascaded over the shoulder. Y/N noticed that she was wearing her coat.
As Nayeon stood up, she kept the books on the table and turned around to see Y/N literally gawking at her with mouth agape.
A blush spread across her cheeks and she controlled herself from smiling. She tucked a hair strand behind her ear as she saw Y/N standing up from the bed and walking towards her.
"Good evening, Y/N. I-I didn't want to wake you up from your nap--"
"You look beautiful, Nay, "Y/N breathlessly said as she stared her down from head to toe.
Y/N admitted that she had watched Nayeon dressing up in beautiful dresses and getting ready for different occasions but, something about wearing her clothes made her heart flutter.
She reached for the lapel of the coat and smoothened it down by her thumb as she looked Nayeon. Her other hand gently rested on Nayeon's forearm, caressing gently.
"My jacket looks good on you, "Y/N said and gave her a toothy grin.
"R-Really?" Nayeon asked, her heart beating so loudly that she thought Y/N might hear.
"Yeah... it does, "Y/N said, her voice relatively low as she was still looking into her eyes.
Y/N always said that Nayeon had one of the most beautiful pairs of orbs, but somehow, now they looked breathtaking. She couldn't help but get lost in them.
Unconsciously, Y/N slid her arm around Nayeon's waist and pulled her closer, astonishing her. Nayeon gasped as she noticed how close Y/N was to her and found herself stuttering.
"Y/N, w-what are you doing?"
Y/N didn't say anything and cupped her cheek with another hand. She caressed her skin with her thumb and stared shamelessly at her lips.
"Y-Y/N?"
Nayeon's mind was in havoc and Y/N was mesmerized. Before anything further could happen, a knock on the door interrupted both of them.
Y/N snapped out of her trance and looked at the door. She then looked at Nayeon who was still in her arms and then abruptly pulled apart.
"I-I'll take the door, "Nayeon said as she rushed towards it.
Y/N rubbed her hand on her face as she wondered, 'What was I doing?'
"Jihyo?" Nayeon opened the door fully and let her enter the room.
"Yeah, actually, I wanted to pick Y/N up-- Hey, Y/N! Why are you not ready yet?" Jihyo stood in front of her with arms folded and jaw locked.
Y/N looked at her and asked, "What?"
"I asked why are you not ready yet. We're going out together. Did you forget that?" Jihyo asked while looking at her with an annoyed expression.
"Oh, right. Yeah, I was about to get ready, "Y/N said and made her way to the bathroom.
Nayeon and Jihyo both looked at the door and then sighed together. Jihyo turned to look at Nayeon and asked, "You look ready. Are you coming with us too?"
"No, actually, I was going out with Minhyuk, "Nayeon said as she looked into the mirror fixing her hair.
Jihyo nodded and stepped beside her, saying, "I'm glad that you're going on this date."
