Nayeon waited for Y/N while sitting on her bed and tapping her foot impatiently.
After school ended, Y/N said that she would be late tonight because she had something to do. Nayeon being the fool in love didn't even ask her where she was going and let her go.
"I should've tagged along, "she muttered to herself while constantly glancing at the room's door.
And she was about to stand up and look up for herself, Y/N opened the door and entered the room. She looked up and gave Nayeon a smile, saying, "Hey."
Nayeon furiously stared at her and folded her arms, asking, "Where were you?"
Y/N chuckled at her antics and said, "Why are you acting like an angry wife?"
"Maybe I am. But, where were you the whole day?"
Y/N pulled off her shoes and kept her bag on her study desk. She sighed out and looked at her best friend, saying, "I was with Mina."
Nayeon could feel her heart clenching at those words. What was she doing with Mina?
"W-What?" she blurted out, her voice coming out like a disappointed whisper.
Y/N hummed in response and took her clothes to the bathroom. Nayeon, on the other hand, was anxiously searching for answers to her own question.
"Are they... No, no, no. It can't be. It can't be, right Nayeon?" she muttered to herself and nervously chewed on her nails.
Her train of thoughts was broken when Y/N stepped out of the bathroom, freshly showered and wearing one of Nayeon's hoodies. She stood there and looked at her phone as her hair cascaded down her shoulder.
Nayeon could feel herself burning up at the sight of Y/N. She didn't know that Y/N would look so cute in her hoodie. She looked at her from head to toe and blushed bashfully.
Y/N kept her phone away and looked at Nayeon, saying, "Let's sleep, Nay. I'm so tired today."
Nayeon didn't say anything and Y/N came over to her bed. She looked at her and said, "You gonna sleep or what?"
"Huh? Oh, yeah. Yeah, I am coming, "Nayeon said, slightly flustered, and slipped under the sheets.
Y/N stretched her limbs a little and then followed the pursuit, settling beside Nayeon. She snuggled a little under the sheets and groaned at the comforting feeling of finally laying down.
You see, ever since they have become best friends, or as they say, Nayeon and Y/N had been sharing Nayeon's bed. And as Y/N admitted herself, she found it difficult to sleep without her Nay. Her presence calmed her mind.
"Y/N?" Nayeon softly said and Y/N smiled drowsily, saying, "Come here, you big baby."
She opened her arms and Nayeon cuddled closer to her, resting her head in the crook of her neck as she basked in her distinct warmth and fragrance.
"Better?" Y/N asked while caressing her head and resting her chin on top of it.
A smile crept on her lips and Nayeon hummed in response while subtly nodding. For a moment, she forgot that Y/N was with Mina the whole day and she was no longer angry. But, her thoughts were disrupted when Y/N said something.
"Nay, today a surprising thing happened."
"What? What happened?"
Y/N exhaled out and replied, "Today when I was with Mina, she asked me for my help. I agreed to do so and guess what?"
"What?" Nayeon asked, eager.
"Mina and Chaeyoung are secretly in relation!" Y/N said, surprised till this moment.
