part 4. Bruno

"Are you okay?"

The voice echoes through my head as you awaken, your vision fuzzy hearing little squeaks once in a while. Shuffles were also herd as you look around.

" ay,ay! Easy not to fast that was a nasty cut I had to sneak my sister's food for you.."

Looking at the man you recognized him from the painting in the town

" B-Bruno?"

His eyes meet yours, studying you.

" do I know you?"

He asked handing you the food and a glass of water

" N-no!... But I do know you.. We're not really allowed to talk about you.. But- what are you doing here?! I thought you left!"

He looked at the ground chuckling softly rubbing the back of his neck. His long curly locks falling over his face as he slowly looked back up at you

" I-... It... It's a long story.."

Lookingbat him taking a bite of the food he gave you as the wound on your head healed itself. You were feeling a lot better.

" what's your name?"
He asked checking the wound to make sure it properly healed.

"Y/N..."
You said smiling softly.

Bruno smiled as well. Standing up checking on some of his rats. Looking around you seen how sad his life looked. Peeking through a hole in the wall and seeing a plate marked " Bruno" painted on the table. Looking back at him his face grew sad

" I love my family.. They.. Just didn't see that I was trying to help.. Instead... I made everything worse.."

Slight tears appeared on the edges of his eyes.
You walk up to him placing your hands on his cheeks. His stubble rubbing gently on your hands.

" I just think everyone just.. Didn't like the outcome of their future.. And blamed it on you to make themselves feel better..i don't think you're a bad guy"

You say with a saddened smile on your face. Doing so Bruno looked into my eyes, surprisingly his eyes turned a slight lime green his cheeks brightening a dark red.

"It's.. Its you"

Looking at him confused he pulled back frantically looking for something. Once he found the item he looked at it then back up at you

"Bruno? What is it?"

Bruno blushed deeply and handed the slab to you, looking down at it you see Bruno being embraced by you. Running my  fingers along the slab then back at Bruno who was playing with his fingers avoiding eye contact.

" You... Had a vision, about me?"

Bruno cleared his throat walking slowly towards you
"That vision.. Was for me.. I was looking for my future.. Hoping it wasn't going to be the same.. Then... You appeared in my vision.. Almost like, we were destined to be together. I don't understand why, but there was alot of uh.. Unspeakable things going on in that vision.."

Your cheeks glew a red shade as you glance back at the slab. Swallowing your Saliva I place the slab down.

" were meant  to be?"

Bruno whimpered softly
"W-well y-yes but i-i-i dont know how a- accurate the vision will be.."
Bruno sat in his red arm chair fiddling with his fingers once again. Smiling softly you kneel by him gently touching his hands to calm them.
" Bruno.. I'm willing to give it a shot.."
His eyes met yours a happy and excited look on his face

"R-really?!.. You're not kidding? You mean it? You.. Arent doing this to make the vision come true?!"

You smile softly and shook your head

" believe it or not id always admire the picture of you on the wall..  You're so mysterious.. And I love it.. I've been waiting for the day we met..if I would have ever met you"

He smiled and leaned in softly for a kiss when you heard a clock go off and you stood up quickly.
" oh no! SHIT"

Bruno stood up worried.

" w- what's wrong?!"

" I wasn't supposed to leave the house! I have to get home before my mom wakes up!"

Bruno's face turned worried as he quickly helped me get out of the wall however he couldn't leave with the fear of getting caught.

" promise me you'll come back.."

Bruno asked his eyes full of sadness as he held you hand softly. His calluses hands gently rubbing yours.
Smiling softly you nodded. About to leave you ran back to Bruno and kissed him softly his hand cupping my cheek.
breaking our kiss and wave as you ran down the stairs getting  home quickly.

climbing through my window you get undressed getting into your pajamas.
Laying in my bed you stare at the ceiling a slight blush across your cheeks Falling asleep.

" Bruno~"
