It was a night for celebration, as Rocks had ordered. As they had been told, they dined, slept, drank, and fought- and this night was especially intriguing.

"Come on then, Newgate!"

Kaido growled in a half slur as his rigid body swayed with the ship, he was visibly intoxicated. His crewmate, Edward, was similarly drunk; he let out a sharp laugh.

"Gurarara! Don't kid yourself, little fish. I'm too much for you."

Kaido snarled and smashed his club against the deck of the ship, the mighty vessel trembled from the blow, as did the surrounding water, yet oddly enough the ship itself wasn't damaged.

The ship came to life with cheers and laughter, every person aboard was yelling, egging the two overpowering, egoist men on. The two muscle heads squared up, face to face with one another; both wore large smiles. The world seemed to move in slow motion as Kaido delivered an underhand swing with his club that was now sparking to life and in retaliation, Edward Newgate swung down with his naginata and the two mighty weapons clashed in a blinding flash of light and sound. Sparks flew and the air billowed around the two, but they remained standing firm and undeterred. Then, a second burst of air occurred between the two weapons and the men leapt backward, but as soon as his foot touched the ground, Kaido launched forward to Edward with his horns raised like a rhino. Newgate just barely had time to lean back, letting the ivory knife-like horns to pass overheard and he was quick to act, he lowered his stance and swung a powerful right fist against Kaido's cheek; the big brute was sent back from the force of the attack. He appeared dazed for a moment as he rubbed his face before his smile returned.

"I see you've gotten better with your power."

Edward grinned and his eyes narrowed, he raised his arm and clenched his fist as white light and air built up around his hammer-like hand.
A large female standing off to the side of the ship, who was joining in with the merriment, cupped her slender hands to her red lips and yelled

"Come on Kaido, quit playing with him."

Kaido glared at the tall woman, she had a large white hat and a white coat, under which she wore a pink blouse and blue jeans. He sneered and cockily replied as he returned his gaze to the man before him.

"Mind yourself Linlin, I'm having my fun!"

Kaido and Edward shot forward, and their weapons clashed causing another pulsing tremor to occur in the air. The ship and it seemed like the entire ocean was trembling from the epic clash. Overhead, storm clouds began to appear; however, no one paid this any mind. It was then Kaido reached forward and snatched Edward's weapon and tossed both of their instruments to the side. Newgate and the idle crew watched in surprise as the smirking Kaido raised his fists; from here, it would be raw muscle power.

Before Edward could raise his guard, Kaido seized the young man by the head and reeled back before delivering a powerful blow square in his face. Edward's head swung back and blood shot out from his nose and dribbled from his lip, yet when he brought his face back to Kaido's, his smile didn't fade. Suddenly, Newgate hurried his fist deep into the barbaric man's gut, he coughed in surprise before he was sent flat into the deck by a second punch.

Kaido remained on the floor for a moment, catching his breath for a moment; he had used that damned power in the gut blow, he was utterly caught off guard. However, with everyone watching and urging him on further, Kaido refused to stay down as he claimed back up to his feet; a dark red welt was on his stomach and his cheek. His piercing yellow eyes sparkled with a deep excitement; Edward truly was his greatest opponent. Not even Kaido was strong enough to last against Rocks, but against Edward- both men could go all out and truly test one another.
