While the boys fought each other, Olive explored other parts of the castle. It was like a maze. All of the rooms looked basically the same and there wasn't much light anywhere apart from the rooms with windows in them. The castle was so big that she didn't even here the bangs and crashes that were going on in the entryway where the staircases were.
She walked down the next corridor she came to and for some reason it was actually bright and not lit up by candles. The corridor was like a hall of fame. On either side of the walls there were photo frames which had framed certificates and headshots of random people. She read a few as she seemingly had all the time in the world to read them. Each photo frame had a dark crimson coloured frame with a navy blue wall behind them. Each headshot also had a light blue or light pink backdrop depending on the gender of the person.
The one closest to her, she was a quarter of the way down the corridor, had a certificate awarded to a Miss Vinda Rosier. She had won an award for being the best at Potions when she 14 years old at the Beauxbatons Academy of Magic. She even had a photo of her 14 year old self next to it. Vinda looked very mean, not very friendly at all. She had jet black hair, very pale skin and very pointy cheekbones and nose. Stereotypically attractive some may say. Even at 14 years old she looked perfect.
Looking at this, Olive noticed that her bushy curly hair was all over the place. She quickly pulled an elastic band out of her pocket and put her her up into a high ponytail. She then walked on and looked at the other things on the wall.
As she continued to walk she noticed another headshot on the right side. This one was for a man which made her realise that the left side was only for women and the right side was only for men. She walked on and saw that the left side had much less women on it as the men side did. The women's side stopped suddenly about three quarters of the way along the corridor where's the men's side carried on till the end.
She kept looking at the male side until she reached the very end. The very end had a mans same that she was familiar with since she was a student at Hogwarts years ago, Albus Dumbledore. Of course, Albus Dumbledore was her old headmaster and he would have been her boss if he hadn't already died. Olive thought about why Professor Dumbledore's name would be on the wall of a place like this. He never said he was a grand wizard or anything. Yes he was smart, but not insanely smart, he was only an old man after all.
On an even closer inspection of Albus Dumbledore's frames and a few around him she noticed that they weren't ordinary wizard frames because she noticed that none of the portraits were moving. Normal wizard pictures move, these stayed still. Olive panicked for a moment, thinking she was in Muggle territory.
This all left her mind though. As soon as she started panicking she heard creaks from above her. She automatically assumed it was a Muggle or the owner of this building, so she scurried off.
She left the hall of fame corridor and went up a tiny staircase which lead to an outside area. It was raining. She left the building then saw a fire escape ladder that led to a little door which effectively led nowhere. Like this:
