⁃ this short 5th grader looking ass will make it very clear that he doesn't like you at first
⁃ like wtf
⁃ how does somebody like you get into the fatui
⁃ he makes SURE that you get all the worst jobs while he's around and if you don't do them correctly then you'll get an ear full of his usual threats and nagging
⁃ his end goal was to completely break you ;)
⁃ and by break you, i mean get you to be so overwhelmed and then quit ;(
⁃ though, this was tougher than he thought it was
⁃ you were resilient, doing all your tasks well, on time, and without any problems, which was a nice change to all the idiots in the fatui that scara had to deal with on a daily basis
⁃ ok, so maybe, just MAYBE, you weren't so bad
⁃ just maybe tho,,
⁃ he would request that you stayed by his side during missions, even if those missions were just staying on a roof top for a few hours to spy on people who were seen as a threat, alone
⁃ it totally WASN'T planed by scara and it totally WASN'T a way that he could sneak looks at you (it was)
⁃ but you were so pretty ??? help ???
⁃ he thought about his reputation, how he knew that ginger freak and signora would laugh and tease him for having a small crush on a mere soldier, it really wasn't like him to be nice in general, let alone have a full on crush on somebody below him
⁃ he grumbled
⁃ he turned to you again, you were so focused on the door you were supposed to be watching incase the target came out of, that you didn't realise the 6th harbinger scooting closer to you, you stiffened, thinking you did something wrong
⁃ you are so warm help him he is going to melt
⁃ the warmth coming from your body was inviting, he had never felt so comforted and welcome, he didn't even touch you yet and he was already going crazy
⁃ obviously touch starved (could never be me jk it is me please hug me)
⁃ he let his senses take over as his body came even closer to yours, he leaned on your right shoulder
⁃ ayo ??
⁃ you are panicking inside
⁃ you felt him get more comfortable and snuggle into your shoulder more, is that purring i hear ?
⁃ when he isn't yelling and screaming, this grape creature could be kinda cute
⁃ his eyes were closed, and his breathing was slowed
⁃ you rested your head ontop of his and let out a quiet sigh of contempt
⁃ the two of you were so distracted that you didn't realise the target leaving the facility
⁃ (and childe taking pictures of you, for blackmail, of course)
