Heatwave 01

Vinnies pov:

I wake up in the morning with the AC running through the house, these past few days it's been so hot. The boys and I have all been hanging by the pool but we get kinda bored of that and decide it's time to switch things up and head to the beach. The beach is usually on days like this so busy, surprisingly it's not too busy today. It's  98 degrees in LA.

We all set down our stuff and head into the water. After 20 minutes of swimming around in the salty ocean water, I notice this beautiful blonde girl with long wavy hair with her friends they set up not too far away from us.

Kio notices that I have been starting at this blonde girl for a bit, he slaps my chest and starts laughing "just go up to her" Kio says "maybe but she doesn't even know who I am she could just think I'm a creep" all I wanted to do was talk to her and get her number but so many things could go wrong, we all get out of the water and lay back down on our towels

Kios pov:

Vinnie and the girl have been  staring back and  forth at each other for the past 30 minutes. I finally talk to Vinnie and give him the courage to go up to the blonde girl "find but only if you come with" Vinnie says. I was fine with that because there is this brunette with the blonde I girl.

Vinnies pov: we start walking over and my nerves start to build up I'm not the best with talking to girls but I tried "hi my names Vinnie" "hi Vinnie I'm y/n" she said

y/n and I talked for hours. We had so much in common we were all really hot and we made friends with them so we all decided to go back into the ocean before it got dark y/n and I was slashing around for a while. Kio and Jett invited the girls back to the house because it was getting kinda late and they ubered here and we took 3 cars here and there is only 7 of us 4 boys and 3 girls all the girls and boys went into two cars and I went alone but Y/b came with me. " are you hungry?" I asked, "yeah a little want to get food?" "Yeah sure where do you want to go" "anywhere works for me I'm not too picky"   "Wanna just go to shake shack and make it easy" I suggested "omg yes my favorite place I love it," y/n said

We both order and sit down to eat I learn more about her she is single and got out of a very toxic relationship after she got cheated on I told her that I've also been cheated on in my past relationship as well. We formers a really good bond and became super close to one another it feels like I have known her all my life.

It's around 7 and we have been talking for a while now we decide to head back to the house so we can shower and get ready because the others have something planned.  I let her use my shower first. I hear the water turn off after a bit and y/n yells out my name softly she told me that she forgot to bring a shirt because she was at the beach " one second I say" I lightly knock on the door asking if it's okay to come in y/n slowly opens the door I give her one of my favorite hoodies it's a royal blue hoodie and I thought it would look nice with her hair and her ocean blue eyes she puts it on and comes out. She hugs mean and says thank you. I quickly shower and make a thirst trap for TikTok I put on grey sweat pants and a blue hoodie to match y/n

Y/n pov:

Vinnie is so sweet and I know I just meet him but the way he looks at me is so cute and I can't help it but I think I'm already falling for him. It feels like I have known him forever and he's so gentle with me and I feel like I can trust Vinnie.

The others call for Vinnie and me to come downstairs because we are going to the fair, the fair has been all my friends Kayla and Abby have been talking about for a while and I'm glad we finally all get to go. They have gotten pretty close with Jett and Kio. We all end up splitting off into groups again at the fair it was Jett and Kayla, Kio and Abby, and Vinnie and me. There were so many roller coasters and fun games to play. The first thing we did is run for the tallest roller coaster we could find and get in line for it. I'm not going to lie I got kinda scared and started having a bit of anxiety Vinnie noticed and calmed me down he hugged me and told me that we don't have to do it if we don't want to "no it's okay I want to" I said to him he gave me a warm smile that made me feel safe after we did many more rides and played some games it was around 11 pm so we all headed back. These boys were full of things to do and suggested that we went night swimming.
